Les voy q contar un poco como fué, estaba en los últimos exámenes de la universidad por lo que estaba estudiando con un grupo de amigas el caso es que me comencé a sentir mal, me empezó a dar calentura y le pedí a una de ellas que me diera un termómetro, para sorpresa mía fui a ver lo que había marcado (39).
I was in the last exams of the university so I was studying with a group of friends, the thing is that I started to feel bad, I started to feel hot and I asked one of them to give me a thermometer, to my surprise I went to see what it had marked (39).
En ese momento me fui rápido a casa a prepararme un té, me tomé un analgésico y me di un baño, logré dormir toda la noche.

pero en la mañana amanecí mal me dolía todo el cuerpo y la garganta, yo no quería aceptar que estaba enferma, así que me estaba vistiendo para ir a trabajar, salí y todo de la casa, pero no podía ni caminar del dolor y me dió un fuerte mareo en el autobús.
But in the morning I woke up feeling sick, my whole body and throat hurt, I did not want to accept that I was sick, so I was getting dressed to go to work, I left the house and everything, but I could not even walk because of the pain and I got a strong dizziness on the bus
Cómo trabajo en un centro de salud quería aprovechar para que me viera el médico, me evaluó pero me dice que no me preocupe que solo tome analgésico.
As I work in a health center I wanted to take the opportunity to be seen by the doctor, he evaluated me but told me not to worry, just take a painkiller.
A medida que pasaban los días me sentía peor así que fui al hospital y me mandaron hacerme una hematología completa y una placa de tórax, me estaban viendo por el área de covid.
As the days went by I felt worse so I went to the hospital and they sent me for a complete hematology and a chest x-ray, I was being seen by the covid area.
Pedí que me hicieran la prueba y me preguntaron cuántos días tenía con los síntomas y ya iba para una semana así que me la hicieron y me dió positivo, yo estaba muy sorprendida y lo que más me daba miedo era contagiar a mi madre y abuela.
I asked them to do the test and they asked me how many days I had had the symptoms and it was already a week so they did it and it was positive, I was very surprised and what scared me the most was to infect my mother and grandmother.
Al entregarme la hematología tenía los glóbulos blancos altos y en la placa de tórax arrojó neumonía, por lo que me mandaron antibióticos.

Yo tenia mucho miedo porque soy asmática y como no tengo nebulizador tenía que ir todos los días a nebulizarme, fueron unos días muy difíciles.

Lo bueno que tuve el reposo adecuado y tomé mis medicamentos al pie de la letra, pase un mes para recuperarme pero lo bueno fué que no necesite de oxígeno ni de hospitalización, yo le doy gracias a la vacuna que hizo que no me diera tan fuerte.
The good thing was that I had the proper rest and took my medications to the letter, I spent a month to recover but the good thing was that I did not need oxygen or hospitalization, I thank the vaccine that made me not get it so hard.
No debemos relajarnos así estemos vacunados, tenemos que seguir cuidandonos y estar al pendiente de cualquier síntoma que tengamos, siempre es bueno una segunda opinión médica ya que el primer médico no me dio un diagnóstico certero y eso hizo que empeorara mi salud.
We should not relax even if we are vaccinated, we have to continue taking care of ourselves and be aware of any symptoms we have, it is always good to get a second medical opinion since the first doctor did not give me an accurate diagnosis and that made my health worse.
