My Battle with Cancer: Relapse
I don’t usually connect that often; I have a lot of backlogged content. My health condition has made it difficult for me.
On this occasion, I want to update or report on my medical situation today (it is 04/07/2026), the day I recorded the video. Here is a summary explaining a bit of what has been happening to me.
In short, I can tell you that I have had a relapse, as the treatment I was prescribed (Bevacizumab and Erlotinib) is already developing resistance—meaning it no longer has the expected effect. For this reason, they have switched me to another immunotherapy called AFATINIB. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to obtain it yet; I have been without medication from 02-20-2026 until today, 04-07-2026. This is the main reason for the relapse.
One of the things that happened to me on 03-23-2026 was something strange: I experienced a loss of many memories, and I had difficulty speaking. The following day, I began to improve bit by bit.
The pain in my left femur has been returning due to metastasis. Following the emergency, I have been prescribed Dexamethasone and Prednisone; both are steroids. This is possibly improving my pain slightly, but nothing is perfect—I’ve been having trouble sleeping. The steroids cause me insomnia, just like what happened last time.
And that is my current situation—somewhat complicated because I haven't been able to acquire the new treatment (Afatinib). To clarify, there might be other options, though not many; they are the ones that appear in the genetic profile (I will explain this in another video).
In the video, I discuss and show several images of my reports and tests that I have undergone. They are as follows:
1- Blood Profile (Perfil 20): Performed on 02-19-2026, showing high platelet counts.
2- Oncology Report (Cycle 18 of 18): 02-20-2026; here I finished the treatment with Bevacizumab, and they prescribed AFATINIB.
3- Brain MRI Report: 03-07-2026, explaining my current condition in the brain.
4- Oncology Appointment Report: 03-17-2026; the importance of seeking AFATINIB was reaffirmed to me.
5- Emergency Report: The emergency began the previous day, 03-22-2026, and on 03-23-2026, I was treated at another medical center.
6- Emergency Oncology Update: Report prepared by my oncologist on 03-24-2026.

Mi lucha Contra el Cáncer: Recaída
Normalmente no me conecto tan seguido, tengo mucho contenido atrasado. Mi condición de salud me lo ha dificultado.
En esta ocasión quiero actualizar o informar de situación médica hoy (estamos a 07/04/2026), día en que grabé el video. Acá hago un resumen explicando un poco lo que me ha pasado.
En resumen, les puedo decir que he tenido una recaída, ya que el tratamiento que me han colocado (Bevacizumab y Erlotinib) ya me está haciendo resistencias, es decir, ya no causa el efecto esperado. Por esta razón me lo han cambiado para otra inmunoterapia llamada AFATINIB, lamentablemente no la he conseguido aún, tengo desde el 20-02-2026 hasta hoy 07-04-2026 sin la medicación, esta es la razón principal de la recaída.
Una de las cosas que me pasó, en el 23-03-2026, me pasó algo extraño, tuve una perdida de muchas cosas de la memoria, y se me dificultaba hablar. Al día siguiente fui mejorando poco a poco.
Los dolores en el fémur izquierdo me han estado volviendo debido a la metástasis. Posteriormente después de la emergencia, me han recetado Dexametasona y Prednisona, ambos son esteroides, posiblemente esto me esta mejorando un poco el dolor, pero nada es perfecto, se me ha dificultado dormir. Los esteroides, me causan insomnio, así me pasó la vez pasada.
Y esa es mi situación actual, algo complicada, porque no he logrado adquirir el nuevo tratamiento (Afatinib). Para aclarar pudiera haber otras opciones que no son muchas, son las que aparecen en el perfil genético (en otro video lo explicaré).
En el video, les comento, muestro varias imágenes de mis informes y exámenes, que me he realizado. Serían los siguientes.
1- Perfil 20: Realizado 19-02-2026, donde se ven las plaquetas altas
2- Informe oncológico (Ciclo 18 de 18): 20-02-2026, acá termito el tratamiento con Bevacizumab, y me recetan AFATINIB
3- Informe RMN cerebral: 07-03-2026 donde se explica mi condición actual en el cerebro
4- Informe de cita oncológica: 17-03-2026 Se me reafirma la importancia de buscar el AFATINIB.
5- Informe de emergencia: la emergencia empezó desde el día anterior 22-03-2026, y el 23-03-2026 fui atendido en otro centro médico.
6- Actualización oncológica de emergencia: informe realizado por mi oncóloga el 24-03-2026

I’m so sorry to hear about the relapse, Gerzon, but as the doctor says, looking at the various test results and everything you’ve been through, the metastasis itself and the lesions you’ve had in your brain, you’re able to make sense of things, think and speak, even if there are some difficulties.
I’m also sorry that the treatment you were given didn’t work. You’ve been through so many ups and downs, you have such strong willpower, and you’re fighting a constant battle with great courage. I hope you can find that medication soon. Stay strong and a huge hug!!🤗

Me encantaría que lo hagas y te doy una idea.. háblate a vos mismo, háblale a tus células, a tu cuerpo. Sé que suena raro lo que digo, pero muchas veces las cosas alternativas ayudan junto con todo lo que haces, háblate en positivo.
