Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia vivida en una de mis salidas de compra al entrar a una tienda dónde hay una gran verdad de artículos hermosos y necesarios dónde provoca es comprar de todo un poco, cómo se que muchos de ustedes les gustaría hacer lo mismo.
Today I want to share with you an experience I had on one of my shopping trips when I went into a store where there is a wide variety of beautiful and necessary items, which makes you want to buy a little bit of everything. I know that many of you would like to do the same.
Por lo que no perdí tiempo y saque mi cámara telefónica y me traje a casa muchos artículos, pero solo en imagen, 🤪 también me estuve probando algunos sombreros y garras, ya que me hace falta algo para cubrirme del sol, pero en estos momentos no podía comprarlos, mi presupuesto ya estaba comprometido, pero estoy segura que pronto regreso por ello.
So I wasted no time and took out my phone camera and brought home many items, but only in pictures. I also tried on some hats and gloves, as I need something to protect me from the sun, but I couldn't buy them at the moment because my budget was already committed. However, I'm sure I'll be back for them soon.
Luego seguí caminando y mirando cosas, hasta que llegue al pasillo de útiles escolares, el cual siempre ha sido mi lugar favorito desde pequeña, hay habían cosas que me recordaron mi infancia, sobre todo los libros de lectura inicial, que eran la pesadilla de muchos niños en mi país, cada niño tiene su propia historia con estos libros, hoy en día lo recuerdo y solo me causa risas, pero de pequeñas me sacaron muchas lágrimas.
Then I kept walking and looking at things until I reached the school supplies aisle, which has always been my favorite place since I was little. There were things there that reminded me of my childhood, especially the early reading books, which were the nightmare of many children in my country. Every child has their own story with these books. Today I remember it and it just makes me laugh, but when I was little they brought me to tears many times.
Aunque aquí no estaba el libro que a mí me asignaron, el cual se llamaba "La Escuela Alegre" nosotros de juego lo llamábamos "La Escuela Triste" pues nos sacaba muchas lágrimas, eso lo sufríamos algunos niños, que como sabemos unos tienen más habilidades que otros, pues yo me sentía muy nerviosa, porque no entendía nada, y de paso mis padres y hasta los maestros de antes te pegaban con una bella regla de madera, y esto causaba que me cerrará mucho más, pero eso no impedía que si o si antes de pasar al segundo grado ya supieras leer.
Although the book I was assigned, called "La Escuela Alegre" (The Happy School), wasn't here, we used to call it "La Escuela Triste" (The Sad School) because it made us cry a lot. Some of us children suffered from this, because, as we know, some are more gifted than others. I felt very nervous because I didn't understand anything, and on top of that, my parents and even the teachers used to hit us with a wooden ruler, which made me close up even more. But that didn't stop them from insisting that we had to be able to read before moving up to second grade.
En fin en esta tienda me vino todo esos recuerdos a memoria, así en un instante mientras miraba cada libro, también pude ver todas las versiones del "Método Palmer" un libro para aprender a escribir en caligrafía, este si me encantaba hacerlo, perdí la cuenta de cuántos llené, y era tanto lo que me gustaban que los borraba y volvía a llenar, pues aquí estaban en todas sus presentaciones, también había una gran verdad de colores marcadores, lápices y hasta juego didácticos, el cual me sentía como niña con ganas de tener todos estos útiles.
Anyway, in this store, all those memories came flooding back to me. In an instant, as I looked at each book, I could also see all the versions of the "Palmer Method," a book for learning calligraphy. I loved doing that. I lost count of how many I filled out, and I liked them so much that I would erase them and fill them out again. Well, here they were in all their forms. There was also a wide variety of colored markers, pencils, and even educational games, which made me feel like a little girl wanting to have all these supplies.
Luego de este hermoso momento, debíamos continuar con el propósito que salímos de casa, mi esposo y yo que siempre salimos juntos a resolver todo lo necesario y luego regresamos a casa, gracias a Dios todo salió bien, y luego de descansar les muestro las fotos de los libros a mis niños, que si les tocó aprender con uno de ellos llamo "Angelito" y su impresión fue de risa nerviosa 😁 ya que les tocó duro con ese libro, aunque sin el terrible castigo de antes, paro también les saco lágrimas, te aseguro que muchos niños y los ahora adultos tienen su historia con estos libritos lindo y coloridos 🤪
After this beautiful moment, we had to continue with the purpose for which we left home. My husband and I always go out together to take care of everything we need to do and then return home. Thank God everything went well, and after resting, I showed my children the photos of the books. If they had to learn with one of them called "Angelito," their reaction was nervous laughter 😁 because they had a hard time with that book, although without the terrible punishment of before, but it still brought tears to their eyes. I assure you that many children and now adults have their own stories with these cute and colorful little books 🤪.

No recuerdo haber tenido problemas para leer, pero si antes castigaban muy feo las maestras, mi hermana fue tremenda en la escuela y un día llego con la oreja un poco desprendida y mi mamá se fue a quejar.
Ya pasaron esos tiempos, ahora no es así, pero el recuerdo queda.

Y yo si sí tuve problemas para aprender a leer primero por desconfianza por falta de comprensión y luego por terror me costó casi el año entero aprender las lección mientras otros niños avanzaban yo siempre estaba casi en la misma página.
