Valentine's is a very special celebration of love. It is a day to spread love among friends, colleagues, partners, family members, and neighbours. Valentine's should not be celebrated only with lovers; it should be an everyday celebration. February 14th is a day set aside to surprise your loved ones with a romantic dinner and couple's gifts like cards, flowers, chocolates, and picture frames. Valentine's Day is a day to show love to the less privileged, giving them hope for a beautiful future. Many are not opportune to enjoy a family life; many wish they had people around their lives they could call their own. This day should be set aside to put smiles on the faces of such people, to give them a share of happiness. Gifting on Valentine's shouldn't be monetary alone; you can also give quality time, attention, and advice to someone in need of them at that particular time; it will be an antidote for whatever trouble they are going through. Since it's a day to show love, there isn't a greater love than to see someone happy.
Presently, the situation of the country isn't encouraging but then, in every little way kindness can be shared, it will be immensely appreciated. What I wish to do this Valentine's is spend quality time with my family and hang out with my friends on a movie night. I also wish to visit the orphanage homes by gifting them with foodstuffs, clothing materials, and gifts like stationery. Doing all these acts of kindness shows how much you care for society and is beyond a romantic relationship. The present Gen Z generation has a wrong notion about Valentine. There is this misconception that Valentine's should be a day to mess around with one another, exposing these teenagers to several dangers, such as unwanted pregnancy, which can ruin their future and their family's good reputations.
To clear this misconception, I believe there should be an enlightening program for youth and teenagers teaching them to understand the true meaning of Valentine’s; it is a celebration of two mature minds, not teenagers. I have not been privileged to celebrate a romantic Valentine's because I am not in a relationship, but someday, I wish to celebrate Valentine's with my supposed partner or husband at a resort well decorated with flowers, candles, and light, and the sharing of gifts between us.Valentine's is a very special day to show affection towards one another, a celebration full of good vibes, and to spend quality time with each other. Valentine's should not only be a romantic relationship but also an act of kindness and showing love towards one another.Although I haven't experienced a personal romantic Valentine, I know one day I will also receive special flowers and gifts from someone I love and who loves me too. Tomorrow is Valentine's, so go out there and show some love to people around you.
