2️⃣If you can wipe out one animal/insect from existence, which would it be and why?
Mosquito it is!
I've always asked what's the purpose of this particular insect because it causes more harm than good.
Well, I decided to trace how it found its way down to mother earth, if you are a Christian you will agree with me that, it was one of the plagues God used to show Pharoah his power and since then, mosquitoes have multiplied.
But scientists have another theory to the origin of mosquitoes, who am I to argue?
Moving on.
Being someone with the O+ blood group, I realized mosquitoes are attracted to us.😿😿
How did I know? Most times when I am out with my friends or family in an open space, my hands never rest; I keep slapping my legs, hands, and any other body part that is a bit exposed, which mosquitoes can feed on.
Worse, they sing some irritating song in my ears; some are even fearless, and they'll want to enter my eyes or nostrils, which gets me pissed.
My family or friends will begin to laugh and ask why it is me that they keep coming to, and some will stylishly say "I have fresh blood".😹😹But then I did my research and found out that mosquitoes are more attracted to people with O+ blood group, my heart shattered because obviously, I will have mosquitoes to contend with for the rest of my life except I move to a country where they aren't existing.
I wish mosquitoes would be eliminated because they are parasites, not only are they parasites, they are problematic, peace stealers, and they constitute a nuisance to society and some of them transmit deadly sicknesses.
I watched an advert when I was quite younger, which was advertising a particular malaria drug, in that advert a slave was right beside a King when he noticed a mosquito on the right chin of the king, being a very good slave, he wanted to protect the king from the painful bite of the mosquito when he gave the king a very hot slap, he was unbothered because he knew if he showed the king the dead mosquito in his palm, he was safe but unfortunately, when he opened his palm to the king, lo and behold, there wasn't any mosquito, maybe it flew before he could slap it and so the king punished slave for slapping him unjustly. Isn't that considered a nuisance?😹😹
This too has happened to me severally when I try to save someone from this wicked insect only to be looked upon as a wicked person because, at the end of the day, the mosquito is nowhere to be found.💔💔
Now, talking about spreading various kinds of sickness like malaria, west Nile, and Zika only to mention a few, people are dying every minute from this deadly disease which is so sad to hear.
Some naughty mosquitoes play with your intelligence and make you wanna go insane and in the end, they cause itching and leave a blemish on your skin, which is why some people have black spots and bumps on their fine skin.
Most people sleep under mosquito nets even during hot seasons, just to protect themselves from the deadly sickness spread by mosquitoes, once it's 6 pm, I am already confined to my mosquito net because even if I wear long clothing, this wicked insect still have a way of getting to me, they bite me even through thick clothes like Jeans or thick pop socks, which is most times annoying, I have tried using mosquito coils but I realized that my health doesn't want me inhaling mosquito coils as I get catarrh just immediately and I notice that some people even rub mosquito repellent cream which I feel is not even safe to their health/skin.
Sometimes, when I am up at midnight I realized I have another job description, which is; to find and kill mosquitoes on the wall, because the sight of them annoys and irritates me.
I have this joy of killing them and arranging them on a straight file, some must have sucked my siblings or whoever as most of them carry blood in their guts.🙊🙊.
In conclusion, if I get the opportunity to get rid of mosquitoes, I would without a second thought because getting rid of mosquitoes will serve as a blessing, as many will have a peaceful sleep and a long life span, and the death rate caused by mosquitoes will be drastically reduced.
This too will save costs as most people wouldn't be spending their money on malaria drugs now and then and people will be able to enjoy nature in an open space without being chased by this deadly and wicked insect mosquito lastly no more unsolicited voices in one's ear and then we can all breeeeef! since there wouldn't be any mosquito to suffocate us.😹😹

Mosquitoes are something I would want to get rid off. Coincidentally I just recovered from malaria over the weekend and even though I rarely fall sick, it's almost always malaria all the time.

But I agree with you on this one, mosquitoes are very annoying little creatures. They don't know when to stay in their lane. If it it was that they bite you, take the blood that they want and go, then it will be better. But they will bite you all over your body, still be singing in your ear, and their bit is so painfulll.

Mosquito it is.
So many times I bought mosquito swatter and it's incense to drive them away but there's still lots of them. They're so annoying that we call someone mosquito if he/she is annoying hahaha

I think a lot of people will try to eliminate mosquitoes from the earth surface if they can.
They are just too annoying and the most troublemaker of an insect.
Over here, my family and I make use of mosquitoes net to avoid malaria wahala😆
And that mosquito net is not so comfortable, especially during the hot season, there's so much heat but at that point, you decided whether to be bitten by mosquitoes or to stay safe and suffer the heat.

LoL!! Mosquitos are really annoying and like you said, they are problematic, I don't know if they have any good contribution to the world but so far honestly, they are more harmful than they are good that is if they are at all.
Ideally, mosquitoes should be sucking nectar from flowers like other insects but I don't know why it's blood that is their problem. Well, only God knows why he created them, maybe we would discover their real value subsequently 🤣

Mosquitoes are more than a nuisance! This tiny insect killing a lot of people every should be wiped out of the Earth tbh. Most of us don't see their usefulness as an animal, maybe it's a rememberance of our past :)
