Have you ever had a weekend so good that you never wanted it to end? Tell us about it and why it is so special to you.
On last Saturday and last weekend on March which was dated 31sth March 2024, i attended a get together event organized by my Christian family members. It was my best weekend for many years now . It was full of funs and entertainments. The event kickoff by 1:30 pm and ended by 6:00p Pm. First, our kids where called on stage to fill the bottles with their hands. They where paired in two's and at the end, the poeple that their water is more than that of others are the winners. Hahahaha, they kids started running and rushing to fill their bottles. It was really fun because some will finish their waters on the way before getting to where the bottle is located.

The filling of the battles ended up with laughter because most of the kids out of curiosity forget their bottles and started filling another groups own.
Laughing competition
Laughing competition was another thing that made the event colourful. Hahahaha, i was among them and couldn't get the pictures. Once the whistle is blown, anyone found still laughing is out of the game. Guess what?? I couldn't hold my laughter and was out of the game on time 🤣🤣😂🤣😂. Next thing that followed was sitting competition. It was made up of 10 person's at the start and it was really fun.
At first, the organizer asked them to go to the crowd and get him NGN-100. Which 8 person's succeeded in getting it. Then, they where asked to go again and get a male right shoe, hahahaha what a funny move.
Five person's succeeded this time coming back with the shoe. And, they where asked to return the shoes and get an eye glass, hahahaha very funny indeed. It was 4 person's that returned with it and was sent to return the glasses and get a wig. Hahahaha, all the women that came with wig started running away becthe kids where dragging it from their heads. Finally two person's succeeded this time
Let's i forget, before going for the wig, they where also asked to get a man's face cap which only three persons succeeded in getting it .
Finally, they where asked to return the wig and get a glass of pam wine. Hahahaha, no where to get a palm wine oooo. And the owner of the house finally filled a glass of palm wine for her son who was among the competitors and the boy comes out as the winner at last. While sitting down on the chair, the boy drank the cup of palm wine making everyone to burst out of laughter.
Finally, a video dramatization was displayed. encouraging everyone to avoid fake friends to avoid entering into problems. Followed by entertainments and all the kids who entertained us where giving 60 leaves exercise books and a pair of biro.
Why is this weekend is so special to me it's because, it's full of fun, learning and encouraging.We had a Bible quiz which encouraged us to put more faith in God and appreciate the gift of his dear son who died for us. The video dramatization is a clear evidence of what's happening in our time. So, it helped me to choose friends wisely. The fun is really one of the best i have ever attended. Can you imagine old women where asked to play football. Hahahaha, can't stop laughing. Seriously i never wanted the fun to end. But can't help it because it actually ended 😔.
I met new friends from another congregation who joined us in the event. The delicious meal and the laughter, the joy on each person's face. The children singing and dancing melodies songs made the event and weekend so special to me. You really need to be there to see things yourself. You will definitely laugh if you where there.

Reading your post made me laugh and brought back memories of when we were kids and go for parties and do all those things. I understand the joy you feel. Though it's been a long time since I attended that kind of party. I wish I can attend one.
