If you found yourself in a country like mine, you will be forced to have more than one business. Just like God surrounded the garden of Eden with four streems of water,'s, that's how we need multiple sources of income to survive in our today's world. Personally, i do lost of side hustling business while blogging remains my full time career. I will share my two side hustles with you right now. The one i failed and the one that worked for me.
I want to start with my successful side hustle. It's barely one year now i started running POS business as my side hustling and it has really worked for me. I started running POS when i less expected it. It was on may 2023, during the period of cashless policy in Nigeria. I was facing serious financial crisis. One of my friends then asked me to try out POS business and see if it will work out for me. I bought the machine or POS terminal, that my friend allowed me to make use of her space and from there, i started seeing changes.
I noticed that after working carefully throughout the day, my capital is intact including the profit i made for the day. Wow!!! I started loving the business. As time goes on, i had my own space and tent house or box normally used to run the business in my area. It's a side hustle that gives me time to right my post here because even inside the tent house, i still make my post when their is no customers. No day i moved out without making profits. Even if it was just only in the evening, i must make some profits before closing for the day. Honestly, am not just feeling happy, i feel good running this business as my side hustle. I recharge my data from the profits i made from poeple, my capital doesn't go down because i spent from my profit.

This is the greatest mistake i made. I started selling of stockfish and crawfish business in August 2022 after undergoing some trainings. I actually started this business with a huge amount of money i made from my blogging career. I wanted to use it as my side hustle in other to support myself and my family members. But things didn't work as planned. It was consuming all my time. Each time i came back from market, I fee very tired and it was really affecting me.
Not only that, it stains my clothes and makes me have unwanted smells. Well, i managed those things because i wanted to survive. Thief's stole my stockfish where it was packed and that was the beginning of my downfall. I wasn't able to get it in bags again, i started counting from others to sell. Because the profit was small, i had to stop the stockfish business and focus only on crawfish. I was finding it difficult to see profits because i always tried to satisfy my customers by giving them enough instead of my gain. All the money i used to start the business finally got to square zero and that's how i stopped the business. I felt badly and sick because i lost my had earned money. I wish i was aware of POS business then, i wouldn't have encountered such great lost.

Right now, the pos business remains my side hustle big time. It's really helpful. I find joy doing it. It's a business that is stress free but print's profits if you are in a good location and are careful enough.
I don't even want to remember the stockfish business because each time I do, it makes me feel bad. I lost huge amount of money.

Oh dear..I am so sorry to hear about your big loss in stockfish business. From your story, the business started to melt only when you encountered robbery and that's a bad experience. Robbers run down people's businesses and standing up again becomes an issue
