In southern part region of Nigeria specifically Akwa-Ibom State , during the third term holiday in the year2010 (the longest holiday of the academic year). Student from across the state travel to their desired place for holidays some to Uncle's/Aunt's while some spent theirs at home and enroll on holidays lesson.
But my own case was deferent because I have to travel all the way to Cameroon through the dark Atlantic on a boat to meet with my Parents for holidays, the journey started smooth on a Thursday morning it takes about 5 to 7 get there though it always not easy to sail through, but as a sailor u must expect more.
The boat launch as early as 8 am and for me it was a big move to a destination of great expectations of seeing my parent, but two hours later our boat stopped.
What is wrong ?? ( ask a passenger )
The engine is bad ; ( says the captain)
He tried the best he can to fix the engine but failed, view hours later a mighty storm showed up that almost drown the boat the women started praying and lamenting but I couldn't do anything than to adjust my life jacket.
But to our greatest surprised some fisher men showed up from a far highland and by then it was already late about (9 pm) they took our boat to their highland where we have to pass a night till we get the boat fixed and continue our journey the next day.

This unforeseen circumstances happened to be my unbelievable 24 hour that made me see the other side of the sea which i haven't seen in my life and there learnt some great story about the highland and the sea.
