I can relate a lot to the expensive wedding materials part. People literally run into debt because they want to show up for your wedding. It's so not worth it. And I think it's what the groom and bride allow that stands. I won't be made to feel uncomfortable in my own wedding so I'll be sure to take steps that prevent that.
Also, this part of ladies in shorts parading with drinks is new to me. Is that really what happens now?
