I heard a drunkard said —
"Every time; when I am drunk; I become very alert before crossing the road, I look left for bikes 🚲, I look right for cars 🚙 then I look up for aeroplanes ✈; again I look down 👇 for bombs 💣; I look back for kidnappers and Kenyan policemen. And finally, I hold my bottle of beer 🍾 tight and I walk zigzag to avoid bullets."
Evokes laughter and you would say, no wonder they misbehave terribly. Meanwhile, in their world, in their minds, they are smart, they are very calculative and alert.🙂
My dear drink something! There's a wine🍷–a river— that makes high(glad) the city of God– the child of God.
Choose drunkenness at it's finest. Apostle Paul commands you do it. It's called Spirit drink, it clears your eyes and turns you into another man. Apostle Paul who must have been an alcoholic when he was named Saul and killing Christians, met a better "alcohol" after he got converted and he commanded, "..Be not be drunk with wine.. but be filled[drunk] with the Holy Ghost."
Jesus the Lord said of this elite brand of drunkards– "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whether it goeth: SO IS EVERY ONE THAT IS is BORN OF THE SPIRIT."
There's a certain kind of unpredictability about these elite drunkards, the world thinks there are staggering or they are taking risks, but in reality they are on a sure footing.
I like this drink! It's a famous old drink, indeed the oldest, yet the freshest till forever. People of this drink don't conform to the world's system. It was said of them in Esther 3:8–
And Haman said unto King Ahasuerus, There is a certain people[Spirit drinkers] scattered abroad...and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's law[ungodly laws].
You are different from "all people", you are called out! You operate the law of the Spirit.
Come on go and drink to stupor this day being Sunday, it's where we mix our wine– the wine unto eternal life.
