Good day, people of Hive! I hope your day is going smoothly.
I would love to share with you the story I read titled "Cheating Husband.".
Joshua and Isabella were high school lovers, and they love each other and support each other a lot. Joshua was seventeen and Isabella was fifteen when they started dating during their high school days and were dating throughout college.
When they were both twenty-five and twenty-three, they got married, and they were filthy rich, all because of their struggle and hard work. When they were young, they were rich, and they were the number one richest married couple in the whole world. Isabella had a friend called Sarah.
Isabella is a full housewife because, according to Joshua, he doesn't want her to work while he's working and they are rich enough to get whatever they want. Also, Joshua used to pay her monthly salary for her expenses, whether she wanted to go to the mall to buy clothes or anything else she needed, and they had been married for two years already.
Unknowingly to Isabella, her husband had been having marital affairs with her friend for five months.
She had also been noticing that the behaviour of her husband towards her had changed; for any small thing, he would start shouting at her or get angry and leave the house and go to Isabella's friend's house. Meanwhile, Isabella had been vomiting blood and being weak for the past two weeks, so she thought to meet the doctor to check up, and the following day, when she went to meet the doctor, the doctor told her she's in stage two blood cancer and that they can still cure her with a lot of money before it gets worse, so since she had noticed her husband had not been coming home to sleep, she would go to his office and tell him about the bad news she received from the doctor.
So the next day Isabella went to her husband's office, and as she wanted to open the door, she heard moans coming from his office. She was praying; it's not what she was thinking. As she opened the door, she was shocked to see her husband and friend having sex. She was heartbroken. For her to shout, she just closed the office door and went back home, acting as if nothing happened.
Since then, she has not been herself again; she doesn't even bother to care for her health issues again. She was also dying inside because of the betrayal caused by her husband and friend. It's not that she doesn't have the money to do the operation for her health, but she doesn't bother because she heard when her husband was telling her friend he was in love with her friend and not with her again. Because of that, she doesn't even bother to do the operation but goes for the drug.
And unknowingly to Joshua, her friend is just using him for money, not because she loves him like she claims she loves him. It's been five months since she discovered her cancer news and her husband and friend's betrayal, so one day as she was cleaning her room, she ran to the toilet, vomiting blood, so she took her car key and went to meet her doctor. Her doctor told her she only had two weeks left on earth, so she went away from there.
Meanwhile, her husband had not been sleeping in their home; instead, he was sleeping in an apartment he had rented for Sarah, Isabella's friend, so Joshua went to the apartment and heard a moaning sound. As he opened the door, he was surprised to see Sarah and her real boyfriend having sex. He was heartbroken, asking Sarah what he had done to deserve all this, so Sarah told him she had never loved him and that she was just doing all this for money, so Joshua didn't have a choice but to go to his house, and when he reached his house, Isabella was already sleeping.
So the next day, when Isabella woke up, she was surprised to see him, and when Joshua saw her, he was surprised that his wife was so lean and asked her what happened; all she said was nothing. So Isabella has been noticing for the past week that he's trying to mend everything together between them. That's when she noticed maybe something had gone wrong with him and Sarah, but she didn't even bother to give him a chance because, according to her, he had lost the right.
So one day, as they were eating, Isabella started coughing a lot, grasping for air, and also coughing blood.
Meanwhile, anytime Isabella goes to the hospital and the doctor asks her about her husband, all she tells him is that he's busy and he knows everything about her health, and she also wrotes a letter about how she knows about his cheating stuff and prays he finds happiness with her friend and puts it where her husband can see it in her room. So when she was coughing and vomiting blood, her husband took her to the hospital, and the doctor who used to attend to her saw them and quickly took her to the operation theatre, but it was too late; she had already given up.
When the doctor told Joshua about Isabella death he was surprised and asked the doctor how is she died, the doctor was surprised and said, Don't you know that your wife had blood cancer? He was surprised and crying, saying he didn't know about it. Three days later, they had her funeral, and when he went to her room and opened her cupboard, he saw the letter, and when he was reading it, he was crying and regretting what he had put her through. If he knew, he wouldn't have done it.
So to me, I still don't understand why some men love cheating on their wives. I hope this story will teach some men a lesson not to cheat on their wives.
