I've never been to any hive Meetups, maybe this might be my first so it's a big yes! 😁
About the location, not sure how we would decide on one without it being inconvenient for some persons but I think if there's enough fund to move people, it could happen anywhere.
The ways to raise funds for it are cool, will try to put some from my end anyway I can. The new account creation is a good idea, let's just try to remind people to use it.
About the outfit, I think we can start thinking about that when a committee is setup and we don't have to go with something too grand for it to make that day special but yeah, it should be discussed on.
In any case, it's a big one and I can't wait to see this plan play out anywhere in Nigeria. Well done @samostically with the big man cheeks. 🙂

Hive meet up is a great idea for we Nigerians. What a better day to talk about many things that concerns us, our own hive, our growth and support to each other . I think this is a good idea, like a really good one. December is a good time too . But I think a vote on how many People live in a particular place should be done, to see where more population is coming from.

This is a good idea. Meeting people in person is a bit different from commenting or interacting on the hiveblog. One advantage of the meet up is that it will strengthen and unite the Nigeria hive community.
I suggest Lagos too, but users should indicate their preferred location, then the location can be fixed based on the location with a greater number of preference from our members.

You can’t add it after posting. When you are about to post. There is a beneficiary part here .
Then you use the minus button to remove Leo finance and add hangout.funds then the beneficiary you want.
I did that but it didn’t save, it still showed nothing.

This is such a brilliant idea. Planning it wouldn’t be easy, but it’s doable. If emphasis is placed on logistics and accommodation, a lot of people would turn up, because that’s the major factor that can hinder people from coming.

Wow! I have this in mind for long. This is a great idea honestly. But like you said the planning is the most important thing. This is still August, December is away a bit, if we can start planning now, I am sure it would be achieved.

I have participated in some physical hang outs for my office and church.
Lagos will be a good place because of the cozy , buzzing and Jiving nature.
There are also special places that can be explored both at the Island a d mainland.
We can consider games like Hive or naija Hive customised puzzles.
Table tennis 🏓 and dancing 🕺 😍 competition.
I have forgotten one of them
But #samhangout it will be worth it at the end of thr day.
December might not actually be the right time for such events for security and safety issues .
The whole country is buzzing with the festive season which brings a lot of activities and tension everywhere.
In our different endeavours and at all ramifications, adding this one again will be freaking clustering with busy schedules which naturally happen during December.
May be November ending or during Easter break which doesn't have the kinda pressure like December. Early weeks in December can also work out but calendars are already ticked.
Well, at the end, it will make sense when properly planned.
