No human is totally independent, we all need one another to survive, even though you have all the money in the world, you'll still need the help of people for one thing or the other.
We need one another to survive and that's how and when love steps in, love is the greatest commandment and it's only when we love one another truly that's when we'll be willing to help even without supervision or without being instructed to do so.
I've not had a personal encounter with first responders but I've people that had encounter with them in the past.
First responders are people with specialized training, they are among the first to arrive and provide assistance at the scene of emergency.
Example of this set of people are law enforcement officers like the police officers, emergency medical service providers like the Red cross, fire service or fighters and so on.
I've seen cases where some policeman will go out to rescue accident victims but end up taking what belongs to those people all because they are unconscious, thereby taking advantage of them. it's a very bad act, and things like this amongst other reasons is why some people detest policemen because they are not truthful enough. Some of them are good representative though, but the bad eggs are just too much, therefore making it look like the police are not working.
Before now, fire fighters in my area are also sluggish with their duties, whenever there's a fire accident, it will take a long time before they will show up, you'll see them when things is completely spoilt already. Sometimes it end up being a great chaos between the people and fire service officers. If they did not complain of lack of fuel, they will complain of lack of water, it's just very irritating.
The story has changed now, as the government has equipped the fire service with their adequate needs, they are also doing well to turn up to doing their duties as expected. I've seen several cases recently where fire fighters came through to rescue victims and their properties in time, reducing the loss that would have been recorded.
I had an experience with the Red cross Medical service providers too when my sister had an accident few years ago. They played a great role in her survival and some people in the vehicle with her, it would have been a very great loss but thanks to their swift reaction. I know they also have their downsides too but this one they did for my sister is something I can never forget. To the extent that my sister had to join them willingly after she regained her health. My sister was too happy, and was like repaying them for what they did for her and also helping other people aswell that might need such help in future. She's still with them till now and she's doing just fine.
All first responders needs to be fully equipped by the government and the appropriate bodies for them to function well.
