Wow, I can't even say I'm really pained right now after seeing this tweet on twitter some minutes ago, like I do wonder how I even manage to land in this country called Nigeria in the first place, the economy is crumbling bit by bit, value of the country currency is losing value against dollar every blessed day, citizens are starving, in pains, suffering and yet the so call representative or those in power aren't even bothered about what the country or the citizen are going through as long as they have their pocket to fill to the brim. First it was the election rigging saga, then court cases and of recently the certification forgery came up, every where was really hot even on twitter because almost everyone have to share their own one cent.
The hike in price of everything is what is actually troubling me especially the petrol part that went from 230 to 600 naira per litre and currently they are saying it will jump to 1000 naira, it is really unbearable because as we are earning, it is leaving, no savings no investment and people aren't eating well anymore because they have to manage what ever they see and hoping everything will be alright. I'm really sure all house of reps have 1 or 2 cars in their garage before now, the country is really in trillions of debt, loaning billion of dollars from other countries and all they could do is get this kind of cars as their own gain. A Vx 2023 model at that huge price, I had to take my calculator just to see the total amount spent on this their plan because they already distribute the SUV. The same car budget offer president of zambia rejected and said such money should be use to do other beneficial things and not on stuff that aren't necessary
While going through the tweet, another one pop up like some hours ago about the country requesting for fresh $1.5bn Loan From World Bank To Address Fiscal Gap in 2023 Budget, I just laugh in chinese because they want to cash out because why can't they use the suv money to address the fiscal Gap budget instead of the unnecessary cars, I just don't know here we really got it wrong or who actually place the country under such curse, the greediness is now too much and unbearable.
