Going to the movies is just no longer what it used to be. Everyone now has big screens in their home and the time gap between a cinema release and for the movies to be on streaming has become neglectable. Also (especially here in Eurpe) ticket prices are just ridiculous and not worth the money. It's a shame though. When I'm in Thailand with 5$ ticket prices I actually go to the Cinema a lot also because it's a great way to cool down.
