The whole idea of a pancake planet was conceived of at NASA when the web first started to blossom and People began looking into the "moon landings" and started to ask questions, given it's clear that what We saw was fakery. They wanted a "reason" to pull People off the looking for why the faked stuff.
They had the Pentagon implement the idea, and They pushed Dubay out there with the help of YouToilet "recommending" Dubay all over. To be sure, the pancake planet idea would never have been a thing without that effort.
So why did NASA fake things?
Well, I don't know for sure, but it could be They were hiding a secret space program, or maybe Michael Tsarion is correct. According to Tsarion, there were some "Bad Guys" (BG) being chased across Our galaxy by some "Good Guys" (GG). The BG arrived in Our solar system, set up a decoy on Tiamat (the planet between Mars and Jupiter), then came to Earth and hunkered down.
The GG arrived, saw the decoy, checked for native sapient life, found none, and blew the planet up (explaining the asteroid belt). They were suspicious, though, and checked the other planets, somehow determining that the BG were here. And They found plenty of sapient life native to the planet. So... They put a barrier up around the globe above low earth orbit that We can't get through. They moved the moon into place to be a "guard tower" (explaining the many stories around the globe of a time when there was no moon, and the claims "the gods" put it there). Also explaining "The Watchers."
We can't get through that barrier and live...and They don't want Us to know.
I will give the globe a probability approaching 100%. And I have an article on eight points I have been seeking explanations for in terms of the pancake planet ever since Dubay hit the scene. So far, in many years, zero People have offered anything.

With Tsarion, and many others like him, there is no simple explanation that works. It looks like the earth was seeded, meaning a group obliterated the upper life, and started their own.
And then came others (like the Elohim) who messed further, and used humans as slaves to gather gold, or something.
And then the wars of Atlantis… and the floods and/or mud floods.
Lots of stories of the moon being rolled across the sky to be here.
I believe the barrier is either energetic, meaning we have to comprehend frequency to pass, or is a dimension. (like, you cannot go east enough to be east, you have to work in other dimensions to get out of east-west.)
But, why does NASA fake space? Could it be so people don't get the idea of building a tower to heaven? (or the firmament?) Whatever the reason, they keep it up.
Well, I give the standard model highest probability, but I don't rule out anything. If I get evidence that suggest otherwise, I will adjust My probabilities.
But yes, the history of Our planet is long and convoluted.
For me, only one thing is sure:
We can't leave Earth. (If we could, with the technology imporvements in the last 100 years, we already would be all around Moon, Mars - just how previously, when Europeans could leave continent, they asap settled in America. Part of human nature! Especially nowadays, when they talk about overpopulation, not enough resurces etc. But at least, that would be no1 thing, colonize Moon and Mars, but they basically stuck where they were 70-80 years ago... that's just impossible, they don't want to do it, if they can, knowing the 'leader' psychos.)
At least, not in the way, how they show us. The so called space is inside the upper 'borders' of Earth. All 'satellites', space balloons fall back to Earth without burning, the Moon landing, spacestation craps are all faked. (and it is not just NASA, all the other countries' space agency do the same) Amateur space balloons show that, too. What are as good as the NASA's ones. (That's interesting question where the money really goes, because this CGI operation cost much less.)
Maybe in the direction of Arctic/Antarctica possible to leave - as the direction what they protect very well from humans. (or they just really hide there more lands) And the hole threaty was made during the cold war, what makes it even more suspicious.
Well, whatever it is that We are in, I think time is best spent working towards solving for the moneyed psychopaths in control on Our planet, don't You? I mean, irrespective of shape, We have that problem!
