that's a good point. I think that me and my friends would have jumped to the teacher's defense as well not because we hated the student or even that we had a love for the teacher, but because we had morals and some level of respect.

Yes ad why there was very little bullying happening as well because it was not tolerated. We had corporal punishment then as well so for this attacking a teacher you would be expelled along with a serious hiding by the police. Kids today are not the same yet they think they are tough.
