well that sounds really nice. In NC back when I was in school they had antiquated laws about a certain number of unrelated women living in the same building was illegal. This was still on the books when I went to college in the 90's. It was crazy because it was a 19th century anti-brothel law or something, but they never ratified it. I hope that has been fixed now. But I do remember I once lived in a 5-bedroom house with 4 other people and the landlord made certain that no more than 2 of the residents were women. Crazy huh?

Oh my! That is certainly an odd law. I don't suppose my old building is all-female any more. It wasn't advertised as such, to my knowledge, but that's the way it was quietly run. College girls got rooms there mostly by word-of-mouth recommendation by other residents. Very politically incorrect now, I'm sure. It seems to me there was one married couple, and he was the only male in the building.
