School is designed to keep you stupid, while making you feel like you are smart.
Figuring out what is going on seems really hard, and that is because of several reasons. The people that want you to stay stupid have set up school to teach you lots of meaningless things, and never once teach you how to think. These people make things needlessly complicated, so that those who can think through it all, think that they are smart, and those who can't get it, think that they aren't smart enough to know anything.
Mathematics is stupidly complex. Calculus is the pinnacle of mind breaking, that you will most likely never use. Although you will never use it, the damage has been done. You think others are smart and you are not.
The Theory of Relativity is a perfect example of "physics" making things impossibly complex. So complex that most people just assume it is true. Yes, that is the only thing that is going for that tripe.
When you get people to "understand" that they are stupid, you can control them easily by trotting out an "expert". The expert says that this is the way it is, and everyone believes it. Because expert smart, we stupid.

Calculus makes you shtupid
In school, they teach you several mathematics. They teach you one system, then they teach you another, and then another. They all have different rules. AND THEY ARE NOT BUILT UPON EACH OTHER!
In lower grades you learn left to right 1 + 2 x 3 = 9
In higher grades you learn PEMDAS 1 + 2 * 3 = 7
In higher grades you learn that asymptotic means that the value goes towards a number (it is 3.9999999 and not 4)
In calculus, we suddenly jump that gap and it is 4.
All of this is to break your brain. AND!!! to get smart kids to never question the math.
Everyone thinks that math is logical and true.
Neither is correct.
With modern math, you can prove 1 = -1
If you want to look into the wrongness of mathematics, start by looking into its assumptions.

Theories are supposed to be questioned
The ivory tower hierophants first teach you that science is all about questioning things. But, if you question the professor, you will fail the class.
Theories are theories because they aren't proven, and any disproof throws the whole thing away. This is what you are taught, but do not question any of THE THEORIES that are sacrosanct. Or you will fail the class.
Imagine if the "scientific" laws that we know are only the base state, and if you go elsewhere, or if you move the needle a little bit, those laws no longer apply. This is easy to imagine, however Modern Materialistic Science believes (and makes you believe, or you will fail the class) that the laws of universe are the same everywhere.
And the most obvious example of this is the Theory of Relativity!
Very complex, mind twisting aberration. One that should be gone, but the theory still lives when it looks like swiss cheese from all the holes poked in it.
- The speed of light varies over the day, and over years
- The speed of light has been exceeded
- Relativity only explains the orbit of Mercury to 96%. (99.9999% has been shown with a theory that doesn't include Relativity)
- Dark energy and dark matter had to be added to make Relativity work
But, don't you dare question the THEORY of Relativity

School is designed to make good workers
The bell is the most important thing in school. Teachers are supposed to stop teaching, even if that information is very important.
The students are forced into read and regurgitate mode. When it has been proven to be the WORST way to learn something. There are MANY better methods of learning, we could use any of them, but no. That is verboten!
It is felt reasonable to keep children stuffed in a "classroom" for a full work day, and then to be given homework. Instead of cementing the teaching into the children, homework destroys learning. Making it NOT fun. Using up children's free time, for not much benefit.
Similarly, the books children are forced to read in school are some of the worst. Dry, long, boring. Most people never read another book after graduating school. And it is no wonder, after being tortured like that.
If anyone who was not trained in this system, looked at school, they would come to the conclusion that this is a torture and brainwashing institution.

If you are shown, again and again, that science and math are very complex, than of course you never question them. You either acknowledge that you are not smart enough to understand science, or you are the brainiac. (If you are the brainiac, it is even worse. You truly know how much you don't know)
People are made to believe in the "expert". TV news shows trot out the "expert" whenever they have to get people to believe that some stupid shit did happen, just the way they said it.
So, the "not so smart person" is trained to believe in "experts" and to never question anything.
The big brain people can never work out anything new, not because they aren't smart, but because modern materialistic science ties their hands. You can't study, talk about or question any of the sacred theories. And all of these theories has everything upside down, backwards, inside out… The person looking for the truth might think it is wrong in only one way, and so give up soon, not finding a one-way answer. The answers only come when you question all-the-ways.
The one i hate the most is "the Laws of Thermodynamics" (which has been disproven time and time again, but still stands)
I hate this because it makes people doubt free energy right off the bat. And gets scientists to never look there, because they have been taught that the answer is "definitely not there"
If we were a smart species, we would abolish schools.

Lol, you are not wrong. Compliance was key when I was in school as well. The mandatory standing for the pledge of allegiance was kind of indoctrination but we were just so accustomed to it that nobody ever questioned it or other things that were done back in the 80's and 90's. I would say that we didn't really mind either but we also didn't know any different.
I saw a meme the other day that said "day 4527 of not needing to find the area of a rhombus!"
Sadly, I don't think that much has changed. I sometimes get to see the homework of my friends' kids and it is the same ol' crap that never gets used in the actual world and in the meantime kids are graduating with zero idea of how to do their taxes or build anything, or cook anything, or grow anything. At least back in "my day" we had a few shop classes and home economics where we would learn the basics of being a human. Those are probably all gone now due to "gender discrimination" or other such bullcrap.
Shop class has been discontinued for "insurance" reasons.
And, i do use all my trigonometry when making cabinets without 90° corners.
But, even though i know exactly what calculus is good for, i just use the pre-worked out formulas for beam load computations.
How many school kids, do you know, that have been taught to kill, clean and cook a chicken?
to answer your last question my guess would be zero. Fortunately for me I had grandparents that had a farm and when mom and dad went on vacation they were my long-term babysitters and I was forced to learn all of these things. I was young enough that once I got over the initial shock I learned very quickly. The killing part of it was tough for me and likely still would be today, but even back in those days the methods of execution were about as humane as you can imagine.
So true. Down to the last word. Schools train us to get used to the factory and prison environment. I used to believe I was extraordinarily intelligent when I was younger. It turns out I just had a knack for memorization. I guess I simply knew how to work the system but did I ever actually learn anything? I don't think very much. The most useful thing I think I got out of school were probably the multiplication tables and we don't even need an institution or professionals to learn those. Sometimes I wish I was blind to the bigger picture. Wish to be red-pilled. To be less cynical and not question anything and believe in shit like "the American dream" or the dead ends mainstream science builds itself into.
Ignorance is bliss… but, while you are ignorant, you can do nothing about being destroyed/manipulated/hurt
Further, the school rabbit hole goes much deeper.
I wish things to change, so i write about them.
