RE: Our Universe is Base 12. The Metric System Is the Most Unscientific

Duodecimal arithmetic is actually easier to learn.

Do you know how the times-tables of 9 add up to nine? 18, 27, 36…

Well, there are many more of those types of things in duodecimal.

Its like Base 10 is 1 dimensional
but Base 12 is 3 dimensional.
The patterns of the numbers shows through.

However, those who do not have a plastic mind, will probably never go back and learn duodecimal. However, the new kids will take to it very easily.

Sort:

would need some big changes from the adults, when you know america still use imperial... well

I am glad we still use Imperial. So, we Americans will have less to unlearn.

Anyway, i believe scientists will change to duodecimal system as soon as they see how much better it is. It is really only learning two new symbols for 10 and 11.

Then you need to learn the times tables.

But, we got calculators, and well, the stuck in the mud adults, will get by somehow.

However, think of bitcoin. Everyone is going to have to convert sats soon.

Another weird thing will be the trinary state computers.
And that will lead to base 12 computers.

The future is going to be wild.

i will try to learn it to be the first then haha
