Commentary
Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated on September 10, 2025.
There are questions about the suspect they have in custody - how fast he is at disassembling a sniper rifle (2 seconds might be a record), and Charlie's souring relationship with Israel.
His public image has been polarized as well.

The leaks of video footage has brought data that can be analyzed better. Chris Martenson has published his analysis that rules out a shooter from the position claimed by the authorities. The angle of impact that allows for absorbing the impact of the bullet (without an exit wound as was announced by TPUSA) would indicate a closer building that a couple of audience members were pointing to right before the shots.

Here is a thread covering the crticism that the shooter could not have disassembled the rifle and stuffed it in their tiny bag in 3 seconds.
The answer: nobody claimed they did. The shooter took the shot, wrapped the hot rifle in a towel and held it as he jumped down.
The floppy form is attributed to the towel part not covering the rifle.
