I think there are a lot of ways to get "covid", because "covid" is nothing more than a syndrome (a collection of symptoms). Like having IBS just means you have a history of bowel symptoms, and you can "get" IBS a number of different ways, including things like chronic stress. It's not an actual disease, and neither is "covid". It's just pulmonary symptoms, neurological symptoms, and vascular symptoms. You can get "covid" via certain viruses, you can get it via certain bacteria, and you can get it as a side effect to various drugs and vaccines, and there are probably other ways to get the symptoms known as "covid". For example, it seems you can get it just through proximity to a vaccinated person giving off spike proteins, but we're still really unclear on that one.

Hell, I've had "long covid" for 5 years now, but it's most likely just a combination of my PTSD, fibromyalgia, and undiagnosed neurological/autoimmune condition. Point being, I've had all those symptoms (and more) for longer than this virus has (or hasn't) been around.

"Covid" is a bogus catchphase for the media which has very little medical use.
