Russian scandal after the massacres committed

in Informationwar2 years ago

Ukraine and its Western allies described, on Wednesday, the Russian military withdrawal from areas near the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, as a "ploy to re-equip Russian forces after they suffered heavy losses."

Nearly five weeks into the Russian military operation, Russia said it would scale back operations near the city of Kyiv and the northern city of Chernihiv to "increase mutual trust" for peace talks.

But Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made clear in an overnight speech that he did not take into account what Moscow was saying on the surface.

"The Ukrainians are not naive," he said. "The Ukrainians have already learned during the 34 days of the invasion and during the past eight years of the war in Donbass that the only thing they can trust is a tangible result."

Ukraine's presidential adviser Oleksiy Aristovich said Moscow is moving some forces from northern Ukraine to the east, where it is trying to encircle the main Ukrainian force there. He explained that some Russians will remain near Kyiv to restrict the movements of Ukrainian forces.

Ukraine appeals to America again .. and the same request

The Pentagon said Russia had begun moving very small numbers of troops away from its positions around Kyiv, describing the move as a repositioning rather than a withdrawal.

"We must all be prepared to monitor a major attack on other regions of Ukraine... This does not mean that the threat to Kiev is over," State Department spokesman John Kirby told a news briefing.

The British Ministry of Defense said that Moscow was forced to withdraw its forces from the vicinity of Kyiv to Russia and Belarus to re-supply and organize after it suffered heavy losses.

She added that Russia is likely to compensate for its limited maneuverability on the ground by intensifying artillery attacks and missile strikes.

What happened in Irbin?

Authorities in Irbin say that at least 200 civilians have been killed since Russia began its war on Ukraine. Over the past month, nearly 70,000 people have fled the city, northwest of Kyiv, who were in basements for fear of continued Russian bombing.

AFP reporters counted at least 13 destroyed Russian armored vehicles in the vicinity of the village of Dmitrievka, five kilometers southwest of Irpen.

At least three charred bodies of Russian soldiers were lying under the wreckage of a convoy of eight tanks and armored vehicles, while a severed leg was seen next to a vehicle.

Bucha .. the closed city

Ukrainian forces managed to enter Bosha yesterday, or two days ago, after the city was completely closed for about a month.

On Saturday, AFP reporters saw at least twenty bodies lying in the streets of Bucha, outside Kyiv.

The city's mayor, Anatoly Fedoruk, stated that the 20 victims were shot dead, and added that the bodies of others were inside cars destroyed by the Russian bombing.

The city buried 280 bodies in mass graves as a result of the Russian invasion, and pictures there showed destroyed buildings and wrecked vehicles.

Hostomil Airport becomes her curse

Hostomil witnessed heavy fighting since the beginning of the war, because it contained an airport, the airport that housed the largest aircraft in the world, the Antonov 225 Mriya.

An aircraft cache in Hostomel contains the remains of the plane's wreckage, which was destroyed in one of the Russian military's attacks.

In a video, filmed at night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia was preparing for new strikes in the Donbass region, southeast of Ukraine.

And through social media, a video clip spread of a Russian Mi-28 helicopter that was targeted in the Lugansk region, in the east of the country, through a missile system supplied by Britain to Ukraine.

And last March, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace confirmed that his country had provided Ukraine with anti-aircraft missiles.
