Variants, variants, variants are all the rage right now. South African, Indian, UK, Brazil of course they changed the names so you wouldn't notice a pattern developing. Each of those countries had vaccine trials tested in them before the variants emerged. Notice no Japan variant where COVID has been almost since day 1 or a Chinese variant where it originated, or how about a US variant, ok that one might be coming with Delta Plus!
