People are used to being spoon fed information from school onwards. Some of us break out of it but I think far too many people are getting their news from so-called feeds (Yahoo among them). Lazy is another word I could use.

Even worse I think that most people only read headlines which are almost always intentionally misleading and use tricky words to mean something that isn't even true.
