RE: Pride Before The Fall: PedoJoe’s Snow White CONgress & The Seven Deadly Sins

-- Why do we have Pride month?

Well, after a very long time living in fear and quietly nudging the public to treat them equally, the gays finally stood up for themselves. A police raid of a gay bar (common at the time) called The Stonewall Inn on June 28, 1969, led to the Gays actually fighting back! Tensions between New York City Police and gay residents of Greenwich Village erupted into more protests the next evening and again several nights later. Within weeks, Village residents organized into activist groups demanding the right to live openly regarding their sexual orientation, and without fear of being arrested. The new activist organizations concentrated on confrontational tactics, and within months three newspapers were established to promote rights for gay men and lesbians. A year after the uprising, to mark the anniversary on June 28, 1970, the first gay pride marches took place in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. Now, 54 years of hard work later, they have a whole month to celebrate their progress!

-- Why don't we have a White month?

Well, if you want one, you'll have to do something similar. You will need to organize and fight for your own rights, for years. At first, it will feel like an uphill battle--and that might last for many, many years. But eventually, if you keep on fighting, you too might have your own breakthrough moment just like they did. Of course, you'll need to convince other White people that they've been oppressed and that they should drop whatever fun weekend plans they had to organize protests and/or riot. Best of luck to you!
