RE: Explosive Story from Seymour Hersh

in Informationwarlast year (edited)

I'll tell you what, I don't agree with you on this and likely we probably won't in the future until there's some kind of irrefutable evidence, but I'll indulge your comments with some thoughts. I apologize in advance for the mass quoting, it's just so I can keep track of the points from your lengthy comment.

Personally the answer is really, who's the most mad at germany.

I don’t feel that’s the right question.
"Who profits?", gets to the heart of the issue.

Unfortunately United States underwater demolition units already said how they would do it and why they can't do it. It would start a war with germany. And the fact maybe seals and underwater demolition units are bound to Congress oversight and unable to conduct such Black operations.

They said they can’t, so it wasn’t them? Doesn’t seem like a solid premise.
"It would start a war with Germany?" It should in theory, but it seems Germany (and EU) independence from US hegemony is extremely weak atm.
"Bound to congress?" No, that was in the Hersh piece. He stated that they were Navy and not from the Joint Operations Command who are bound to congressional oversight and required to brief the Gang of Eight in advance of any operatio. Hersh indicates that the Biden admin. went with the option that specifically circumvents congress.

However if we really dig deep into the money part we see that this entire pipeline is German owned and operated. In a huge stealing win the entire operation employees as few Russians as possible and there's a big huge of revenue going directly to Germany instead of Russia Russia doesn't own or have any interest in the Nord stream pipeline and Russia is still really mad about all those military weapons and all that military aid going to ukraine.

This is factually incorrect.
According to the official Nord Stream website, Nord Stream is owned by Nord Stream AG. and Nord Stream AG is made up of 5 companies.

  • Gazprom (Russia)
  • Wintershall Dea (Germany)
  • E.ON (Germany)
  • Gasunie (Netherlands)
  • Engie (Belgium/ France Stock Ex)

Gazprom owns 51% of Nord Stream AG. (The Russian state is majority share holder in Gazprom). https://www.nord-stream.com/about-us/our-shareholders/
So what are you talking about?

Russia mad about military weapons going to Ukraine. Of course they are, more weapons means a prolonged war. I don’ think that’s good for either side. More death and destruction.

How it was done proves this entire thing. The fact that you had multiple seismic level explosions going off? Yeah Russian underwater demolition units are based in the same exact area and able to travel by submarine over into that area do all their thing in roughly as close as possible by deploying huge amounts of explosives to ensure the job is taken care of.

I don't follow your logic here. Yes, large explosions can cause seismic readings. I'm not an expert in this area but are you saying that C4 could not have created these explosions?
Is there any evidence you want to share that the "Russian underwater demolition units" blew up the pipeline? There are also NATO forces and allies in this region, I'm pretty sure if any shred of evidence that existed to this effect, surely, it would have been presented by now.

However even still they failed whereas Western demolition units would have only had to use tiny shaped charges. Couple of ounces of explosives. Most likely less than even a pound for each charge. Because one tiny little penetration on that pipeline absolutely is going to catastrophically devastated with the resulting sympathetic terminal failure.

Agree with you here, because this is pretty much what Hersh alleges happened.

United States Navy seals coming out and laying out exactly what was needed and what was possible to do this?

Idk where this claim comes from, when was this stated? I can't really comment on this.

The fact that the Navy diver that has done this is unnamed and the source is unknown turns this into fake news.

No it doesn’t.
Investigative reporters have an obligation to protect their sources.
It’s not fake news, it’s sound journalistic practice.
It’s widely known that Hersh has had sources inside the Pentagon for decades. If he reveals his source(s), the source(s) will be fired and imprisoned.
This is where Hersh’s track record holds serious weight and he has proven to have been an honest reporter his entire career.

Unless this journalist proves this in court I think he's guilty of making it up. Maybe he's getting paid a lot of money for a bogus story. You got to realize that everybody now is been talking about that....

In order to "prove" this in court he would have to name his source(s) which he wouldn't do. Never gonna happen. A journalists job is not to prove a case in court.
Paid? Sy Hersh, paid, to make a bogus story? Sorry, doesn’t pass the sniff test. If he wanted to cash in on a story he would have done it 30 or 40 years ago, not all of a sudden sell out when he's in his mid-eighties.

Personally I think Russia kicked off two charges and had a 75 percent success ratio. The rest of the world doesn't want to say anything. Especially because the Norwegian pipeline just went down.

75% was destroyed, true.
Russia blew it up? You can choose to believe that when all signs point at the USG. Which Norwegian pipeline went down? Haven’t heard about this.

But until Seymour Hirsch actually reveals his source and we can confirm this, it's suspect. Opinion.

  • Was the MaiLai massacre just Sy Hersh’s opinion?
  • Was Nixon’s secret war in Cambodia fake news?
  • Was the extraordinary rendition program Hersh reported made up?
  • The CIA doesn’t have a black site torture program?
  • Was the reporting on Abu Ghraib abuse simply a case of an old reporter looking for attention?

Please, nothing you put forth is even remotely close to reality.
It’s grasping at straws.

When the story has been mentioned, Hersh's credibility is being attacked exactly because his reporting holds weight and they need to attack the person not the story itself.
The truth of his reporting is ugly, uncomfortable and inconvenient for those involved with the bombing of the pipeline. This is why it’s so valuable to the public. This type of reporting no longer exists in legacy media because it has been phased out.

Personally how is Biden going to pull this off I'd love to know. Where is the proof that the United States actually did it.

The truth will come out in time. It always does.
At the moment, the USG and media are trying their best to completely ignore Hersh’s story.
It would be very helpful if a proper and open investigation into the events actual happened. However, it seems that thus far Germany,Sweden, Denmark, don’t really think it’s a priority. I mean, if this was an attack by Russia, as you and others claim, the officials of these countries would be screaming bloody murder and showing evidence that ties Russia to the bombing. But they aren’t and they don’t because they know who really did it. And they dare not go against their masters in Washington.

Sort:

Personally the story is the problem and the holes in the story.

It's not the author.

Had his story been stronger I personally would have been more inclined to believe it. However is entire tangent on the low tonality frequency blah blah blah immediately got me interested in exploring more and smelling something rotten.

And it's pretty amazing that this author has gotten so many absolutely amazing stories. I mean it's like complete and total magic I mean we're not talking about a David Webb.... And honestly enough David getting shot twice in the head and then that being called the suicide is a real cover-up.

Seymour is screwed because he made a mistake and published this having an unconfirmed source. If he was being threatened with this information and publish this under duress because of course he is tied to the KGB..... Because how else would you get such detailed information on the United States war crimes as well as the Central intelligence agency? Thank you for that list actually quite a few individuals have claimed in the past that this author is nothing more than an intelligence operative as well as the American anti-war movement being infiltrated by the KGB.... Yep that's right I really like those conspiracy theories. Ironically most of them are actually more conspiracy fact than theory.

So. Conclusion. Seymour published conjecture until the source or evidence comes out. You may believe it, and personally I would much rather the United States and Germany being upset at each other then Russia being responsible.

bruh

Had his story been stronger I personally would have been more inclined to believe it.

ahh
so you need a better story

maybe a beautiful heroine, better light and shinier cars.
