RE: Modern Materialistic Science vs Animism Science

"It will not be long till we start making contraptions that allow us to see much more, like the aura of the body, and life."

I am sure you are aware that numerous claims to have done this exist. I note you don't tout them, so I assume you are also aware those claims have been falsified, and cannot be factually correct. I note that understanding is the entirety of science. Science can never prove something is true, and this is why claims that 'the science is settled' or admonishments to 'trust the science' are the opposite of science.

The basis for the scientific method is that our understanding is only ever incomplete, and by disproving this or that we can improve our understanding. To improve our understanding we must first have an open mind, be skeptical, and doubt - not 'trust the science'. Because science depends on questioning current theories and disproving some aspect of all of them, open debate and free speech are critical to science. Censorship is the death of science, and worse, an existential threat to anyone unable to gain safety signals because of censorship.

You well note that Atheists and Animists argue over religion, and improperly pretend to wrangle over science, because science has no way to disprove anything religious. For example no one has proposed any falsifiable mechanism or theory that explains the existence of consciousness. No one knows what it is, where it comes from, or why.

People make a lot of claims they can't back up. People that claim there are ghosts and spirits cannot provide means of falsifying their theories, therefore their theories aren't science.

Thanks!
