You speak for yourself. I am capable of ascertaining for myself the shape of the Earth, using the methods of Eratosthenes to measure the angle of the sun's light at different latitudes. I do have an idea of where we live, because I have done the research and understood basic principles of physics that are consilient across all disciplines and science.
Your confusion is your own. You may not understand how to conduct experiments and interpret the results, but your lack of understanding is yours alone, and that of equally confused and incapable people is theirs.
Leave me and the rest of us that do understand sound, demonstrable principles, out of it.

But when people have done this with a lot of points, the results are… just messed up.
And the problem that the sun's distance can't be ascertained without knowing the shape of earth, so, neither can the shape of the earth be determined from the position of the sun.
The concave earth in the above picture does line up. But so does a ball earth with a diameter 2x what we declare now. Well, much more oblated.
I believe the sun's position is on a logarithmic scale/space (some kind of contraction across more and more space) But this belief is really unprovable, but it shows up in magnets and quantum fields. But, if true, it messes up everything. (where the sun can appear 3,000 miles away, and really be 93 million miles away.
These tricks don't confront me because of consilience. I believe in some real doozies when it comes to conspiracy theories, but flat Earth ain't one of them.
My bets are on something like a toroid-like structure with earth painted on the surface inside.
So, i am not trying to sell the Flat-earth. I am showing snippets that things are not as pat as they say.
FFS. Earth's an oblate spheroid. That's the shape that is most efficient. Spheres form in all sorts of environments all around us, like water droplets. How many toroids have you found among river cobbles? C'mon man!

Magnetic fields are a toroid. Red blood cells are a toroid.
On another note, do you know of/why the pear shaped earth is a thing?
