In March 2021, when Americans first began hearing about the Delta variant of Covid-19, breakthrough infections among fully-vaccinated Angelenos accounted for just 2% of that month’s case total. By June, when Delta accounted for 50% of all variants in Los Angeles, breakthrough infections among fully-vaccinated residents had risen to 20% of all identified cases. In late July, county officials reported that the Delta variant had overwhelmed all others, accounting for more than 90% of all positive tests analyzed for variants. As a result, the ratio of breakthrough cases increased to 30%, local health officials announced today.
I Fully expect most of the cases will be "vaccinated" people the longer this plays out. The shot, as I like to call it because it's not a vaccine by pre 2020 standards, is not effect against stopping the spread of the virus and only somewhat effective at suppressing the immune system so you still can be a modern day typhoid mary spreading the disease to others.
Fully-vaccinated people represented only 5% of L.A.’s hospitalized Covid patients in April. By July, that number had risen to 13%. Overall, however, the percentages of vaccinated people who test positive, are hospitalized or die from Covid remain low — all less than 1%. Of the nearly 5.15 million fully-vaccinated county residents as of Tuesday, 27,331 have tested positive. That’s a rate of 0.53%. Only 742 were hospitalized, for a rate of 0.014%. Only 68 have died, which makes for a rate of 0.0013%.
You gotta love the white wash of the bad news in this article too. 30% of all new covid cases are from people that got the shot, not good right? But but if you look at the overall "vaccinated" in the county the numbers are really low. With that logic the overall cases in the county are stupid low with a population of 10 or 11 million people that live in LA county.
3k new cases a day in LA county with 35 death is fraction of a fraction of a percent of people getting covid and barely anyone dying but they are locking down and telling everyone to wear a mask. Just stupidity in my mind.
Hospitalization numbers have been steadily rising for more than a month, but Ferrer noted today that between April and mid-August, roughly 25% of the Covid-positive patients in L.A. were actually hospitalized for a reason other than the coronavirus. Their infection was detected only during a routine admission screening.
She was quick to add, however, “Let’s be clear: They definitely have Covid; we’re not inflating our cases.”
They are testing everyone for it. The flu, cancer and all the shit would go up if they tested for that too. The system is designed to inflate the numbers and test all the asymptomatic people.

I'm glad i do not live in a county that thinks like this. Mine resisted a year ago and have refused all mandates from the state. Our local legislators know better than to try to force us too because we WILL vote them out (as well as not comply anyway)
At least that is their claim. If you look into CDC's own documents you'll find that their tests do not identify the variants. In fact, they often do not differentiate between COVID and INFLUENZA. The CDC has indicated to detect "Delta" and other variants you need to specially send the sample to a specific lab and they are only doing that on an occasional basis.
Yet since they still haven't actually isolated COVID how do they know?
Answer: They don't.
They need a scapegoat so when the shot kills ya they can blame those pesky variants.
