Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal was 60k Hive, and I am past that! Next, my stretch goal: 70k!
Last week I made 262.543, bringing me to 60271.82 total Hive Power. That’s 86.1% of my stretch goal!
Math time. 70k - 60271.82 gives us 9728.18. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 133.3 Hive needed per day to reach 70k by that point.
Yeah…. not going to happen. But we’ll see how close I can get.
More immediate is becoming an orca. What once was easy (100k VESTS = 50k HIVE) is no longer easy due to HIVE inflation. According to Hivebuzz, my 60271 HIVE is 99,610,866 VESTS, meaning I still have a little bit to go before I join the Orca club. Soon maybe!
Second Layer Tokens
Rather than buying any H-E tokens this past week, I’ve been dumping them. The ones that have no market, I’ve just been sending to @null. I don’t want to look at them anymore! So many shitcoins….
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
Geez, and just like that, we are halfway to $60. Well in early morning trading it looks like it’s come back down a little, but it finished last week really strong! This is kind of unbelieveable at this point. $60 by the end of the week?
Here is a good looking coin that I came across today:
How did I miss this lovely thing until now? What a beautiful design. Too bad with silver going nuts, the premium for this pushes the total price above $60. Ouch.

In my corner of Canada, premiums recently doubled on both legal tender bullion as well as rounds which means bullion silver is getting harder to source. Usually. Meaning inventories are swinging over from net Sellers to Buyers.
I better check in on my local coin shop in Richmond and get his opinion.
