Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal was 60k Hive. And I am past that! I’m still not an Orca yet, but maybe soon.
Now on to my stretch goal of 70k. I’m not likely to get there, but let’s try, eh?
Last week I made 282.23, bringing me to 60554.05 total Hive Power. That’s 86.5% of my goal!
Math time. 60k - 60554.05 gives us 9445.95. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 143.1 Hive needed per day to reach 70k by that point. Yeah…. not gonna happen.
It’s really a shame I can’t afford to buy in more, because with HIVE at only 14 cents, this is the perfect time. But oh well. We’ll see how close I can get just from organic growth.
Second Layer Tokens
I really bought into @enginewitty’s new token AEGIS. WEitty has been around here for many years and has shown his dedication to the chain, so I am all in on any project he is behind. I’d recommend the same to anyone.
Silver
The silver chart for last week:
Well after being on fire and passing $50, silver finally fell a bit. Still, it may pop right back up this week. Let’s see how it goes!

Silver looking great! I heard a couple people proclaim the bull cycle is over due to one crazy bad day, I wish it was so we could buy cheap at $25 again but this is a long term bull cycle and corrections are normal. Gold will be higher in 18 months, it’s wild some other Hive’ers are claiming it’s bear season over one day or week!

WOW, 60k HP is an incredible number! My goal for this year was 20k and I will be able to get there without also mentioning that I managed to put a good amount of HBD into savings, creating passive income. I think I'll continue to focus firmly on these 2, I really believe in Hive for the future!
I wonder if China will keep dumping crypto and buying precious metals driving prices up even more.

That Korean Phoenix is pretty sweet looking. Keep plugging along, you will get to 70K! I just put a limit order out to sell some of my HIVE if the price hits right. I feel like it always happens when I am sleeping, so I figured I should start using the limit orders screen.
I know the feeling on not having funds to import with Hive being so cheap! But great job on the 60K!
AEGIS is a great play, and I've been buying more into it as I go along. I too like those project produced by @enginewitty , he's a solid guy!
That is a nice Korean Phoenix, I wouldn't mind one of those, but I'm on a budget so new silver and gold buys are out of the questions for some time right now!
