Crypto Dreamin' 🌝

Why are you even here? I mean seriously? HIVE isn't really worth anything anymore and getting your hands on any HBD is pretty much out of the question unless you're building something for the powers that be. Or, -OR-, you are dedicated to seeing this through for a future generation.

Wait. Did you just say for the community? Community doesn't care about rewards. I'm not in any discord server, relative to Hive, that doesn't have some kind of light on either posting or curation, and though that is an aspect of what a community is - a support system - I don't know of any community that focuses solely on relationships or development and completely leaves out a monetary view. Find one for me, I dare you.

Money Talks

Damn right it does and you would be talking out of your ass if you told me you were only here on this chain for the social aspect.

You would get more fulfillment from IG or X if that's all you really wanted.

Why? Because money talks. And the more there is, the louder it gets.

Today, I noticed something really loud on my radar that I have been waiting for to pop up ever since @gerber let BeeSwap go. That was my go to for a passive collection plate I passed around every day (and still do). It shed a light on liquidity pools like no other front end did, making it a 'one stop shop' for my primary goals.

HIVE TOOLS

I've been trying to find a replacement for quite a while now. Tribal DEX is just so clunky, and though it has quite a bit of information, it takes way too long for a dad to maintain patience on there. I tried Hive Swap and it works well, but it is a mere hollow shell of what I need and I filtered through my replies and comments and didn't get any kind of interaction with the creators when I left a suggestion so - they are not open to anyone else's thoughts imo.

But I'm Crypto Dreamin' anyway.

Enter Hive Tools.

God Mods birthed.

In that first graphic found on my new favorite anything (even now above PeakD) that has to do with Hive, you'll see under the Hive Tools liquidity management tab and furthermore, the POOLS section.

Do you see the gold words under the pool names? That denotes that they have rewards offered for providing liquidity, which, for the lack of volume and love of Hive to succeed, is a huge factor in where I park my vehicles. Even the top one, for Bitcoin, is barely over a hundred grand today and in any other market, I wouldn't even look at that pair to post up for with such a low number. You can click on any of the pools you want and see some stats there, which I'll get into a moment, right now, I wanted to showcase something else.

If you click on the positions tab, you'll be taken to a screen that shows all your positions, descending from the entry date, so the most recent one would be last on the list (for now). You'll notice the blue distribution bubble below the pool and when you hover over it, it shows you everything in the rewards list! #loveit 😍

You'll also see a little purple box on the top right corner of that graphic, which is where we are going to travel next on this site. Go ahead and click it if you haven't already done so, so you can follow along with my excitement and understand my brain a little better.

How I Read It

HASHSCORE-SWAP-HIVE-Liquidity-Pool-Mithril-Diesel-Pool-HiveTools-05-31-2026_11_43_AM.png

If you scroll down a bit, beyond the basic information for the pool, if it has rewards, and the contract is still active, It will say LIVE after the distribution point of interest, which here, is labeled #1. Let me break it down for you.

  1. Distribution in play? Meaning whether or not any kind of rewards are active for the pool beyond just swapping fees.
  2. Rewards remaining in the pool, which is critical for timing of when to place your exit strategy and entry points.
  3. Days left on the contract. (This should be self explanatory.)
  4. Where you sit bubble, this is a smaller stat bar that says basically what you have in it total.
  5. Your percentage of the pool's rewards share - inclusive of both swapping fees and liquidity rewards injected into the pool by the creator.
  6. This little bird chirps about what exactly you have in that particular pool, allowing you to math good when you need to.

But, you know what I love the most? It's that @ecoinstant and @thecrazygm actually listen when I (or other users) throw a suggestion out there.

I'm sure they both miss several things about its predecessor too and that's why, they are doing what they can to build and improve on what was there before.

Is it perfect? No, but is anything, ever? It is, however, with the new modifications, now a place where I can handle all of my liquidity pool needs. There are still a few things I would like to see (which along with other users, I'm sure, they have my list), but all the major aspects have been covered to my satisfaction and the site is really fluid. Not to mention, there is a plethora of other tools and goodies at your disposal from the Hive Tools hub. You can check trends, they have recovery tools and even a markdown editor if you want to beautify your posts on Hive.

In closing, I want to make it clear, I was not coerced into writing this, and they probably won't even know I'm giving them props until they see the notification that they were mentioned. Keep going fellas, I'm your biggest fan! Or a fan at least. Ha! Also (and I know you guys do) REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, who else can I possibly be?

I agree with everything you said and I too love what @ecoinstant and @thecrazygm have delivered. I have been extremely busy offline and online with PEPT so I have not explored all the tool usage.

I do have a question, is there any other way beside https://hive-engine.com/ and https://tribaldex.com/ to execute L2 token trades?

I too love the recent change in showing the Rewards and Schedule for the pool.

This triggers another question related to distribution contracts. I would like to setup a contract where the distribution is to providers that have tokens staked. So I was thinking I could manually manage a list of stakers and link/connect the contract to the following pool.
https://tools.crypto-dreamr.com/dieselpool/pools?input=TOOFUCKEH&output=SWAP.HIVE

Question: Can I edit a distribution list as frequently as I want without paying a fee for every edits?

Wishing you the best of days.

I've never understood anything of pools ,people have tried to explain it but it's just not made for my brain i guess , so i stay away from it to avoid issues .

That’s !pimp

Hive Tools has been a great replacement for BeeSwap. Tribaldex has never worked properly for me with pools.

This is a really cool find! Thank you for sharing.

My reason for still being on Hive is the ownership aspect and the ability to blog. It allows me to experiment writing about concepts or subjects I want to try out before talking about them on a mainstream platform. The 'softlaunch' aspect that Hive offers has helped me tremendously in my ventures as a creator and finding my voice.
