Today I celebrate my 8th birthday on the Hive blockchain! Well, eight years ago, the Hive blockchain did not exist under the current name, but it was the legacy blockchain that I used to sign up.
Right, my username also gives me away as an old-schooler, and I was choosing it as I decided before I started that I'll not give up this-not before I'll reach a million STEEM or HIVE. There's still a long way to this, and perhaps it's something that I'll never be able to achieve. Nevertheless, every step closer to my dream is a happy step!

It was important for me that you keep your node updated (not necessarily the latest version, but also not a very old one), and then I looked at the number of misses and the APR (I believe we should move back to 20%).

Yeah, agreed on the keeping it updated topic… upon working on mine, I noticed that there are waaaay too many dead or comatic witnesses out there, still receiving waaaay too many votes as well. Wrote a post about it, and I might post it today or tomorrow.
Regarding the APR, yes, I agree on the 20% I see why they went down from 20 to 15, but I have the idea that it is missing its goal, and “punishing” (for as much as you can call a 15% APR a punishment ;-) ) the good Hive users as well…
