I wanted to take a little time and explain specifically how the @tribefairy account and this account work together /feed into each other. For those who don't know tribefairy is a new curation project (not an upvote service) designed to support folks making Hive a better place. Though it is mostly concentrated on token/tribe owners/eaders other folks are included as well.
So far the response to the new project has been overwhelmingly positive.There may be other ways these accounts support each other in the future but here is what is happening now.
- Delegating to Tribefairy earns monthly UNICOIN rewards. For every 50 Hp that is delgated folks earn 0.25 UNICOIN. Right now delgations in increments of 50 count.
Folks can sell the UNICOIN at a profit during scheduled buybacks. put them in the high APY liquidity pools or exchange them for HSBI for a 100% bonus. All while helping support excellent Hivians. Everyone wins.
For the first few months especially the surplus HP the uni-coin account earns will back some of the UNICOIN distributed to delegators. Right now approximately 25-30 more HP is generated than UNICOIN minted every month This backs the tokens automatically. There are also token burns and small power ups that increase this ratio slightly as well.
This basically means the first 5,000-6,000 HP delegated is already going to be backed by the Uni-coin account allowing the Tribefairy account to grow and need less power downs to pay for the tokens. Right now there is about 2500 HP delegated
HSBI tokens
Once all the changes to the new HSBI system are in place the HSBI tokens will be divided among this account, tribefairy and maybe @glittertoken , though that account is dong fine on it's own it will be the lowest priority.
For the first few months once divs are active I will just be compounding (the divs are paid out as HSBI tokens). However in the future I can sell the HBSI tokens on the market either from the official HSBI account or on the market. This will bring liquid HIVE to the accounts which will be powered up.
All these accounts right now are getting a small amount of outside funding so I don't expect I will be selling any HSBI tokens anytime soon (unless folks are buying them at a really good price and it's profitable to do so)
Speaking of these accounts feeding each other, I have a question for the community
I am considering adding the the HP (not delegations actual HP) of the tribefairy account when calculating the UNICOIN HPH (hive power holding) ratio. Basically I think the HP in tribe fairy should also count as backing UNICOIN. I personally think this is fair since both of these accounts support each other and the HP on the Tribefairy account is earned trough curation from folks who are delegating to earn UNICOIN. Does anyone object to this? If so please let me know in the comments if you feel this is an unfair calculation.
If I count the HP on the tribefairy account as backing UNICOIN there will be less powerdowns as I won't need to power down just to power up at uni-coin to back the tokens. I will still power down for liquid HIVE as needed, but not nearly as often.
This also would give me the opportunity to do more power ups on either account instead of just focusing on the uni-coin account.
These accounts are connected and feeding into each other so I think it's fair but I want to hear your input. I did state from the beginning that accounts related to this project can/will count for the HPH -though I haven't done that yet as most of those accounts don't really keep funds in them.
I'm just being transparent and looking for input. If most folks agree that the HP on tribefairy should count to back UNICOIN then I will proceed with that plan. If most folks object ,then we will have discussions before I start counting it. If most folks are neutral and don't comment either way, I will consider that to not be an objection.
This post is already longer than planned but I hope folks have a better understanding of how these accounts work together to support each other.
