A little while ago I mentioned I would be changing /increasing the outgoing delegations from this account. I wasn't sure if I would increase the ecency delegations or delegate to EDSI. I decided to do both.
I am delegating more out than I originally intended but the math just worked .I powered up a little more HP and now have an outgoing delegation to EDS at 1k HP and ecency at 800 HP.
Is this a little extreme delegating out so much of the HP ? Kind of in a way I suppose. However it is in preparation for something new I will be doing in 2026.
I am not going to get into details here, but I will soon. Here is a teaser: It will regularly increase the HP of both this account and @tribefairy .
But in order to do that I needed to make some small changes. This account still has HP coming in for the tip bot, so it will still earn on curation. The liquid HIVE will also be more important in the future and ties in to the new thing I'll be doing next year.
As for EDS I will be watching it closely. Yes they've been around a long time and are trusted but in my opinion not as active especially with updates as I would like to see. Sometimes Eddie disappears for months on end with no notice. This account is in excellent standing and I can afford to risk delegating out with no worries at all. If something were to happen which I don't think it will ,I will simply undelegate.
That said things at EDS still run smoothly and I have no real complaints other than that. I will be watching very closely and if things look, less stable at EDS then I will retract the delegation. But for now I think it's a good bet. I will get EDSI tokens every week and some liquid HIVE.
I transferred most of the EDSI tokens from this account to @tribefairy (which originally came from my personal account) . This is also in prep for what's coming next year.
The ecency points will be pooled from my other accounts and used to rent incoming ecency delegations. Those are expensive points wise and it takes a long time to accumulate enough but it will be a bit faster with the outgoing delegation increase.
