Most of us stop far too early. At that particular point that we feel tired or slightly uncomfortable, that is when our mind starts to convince us that we have already hit the wall.
The real truth is that the moment you think you are finished , you are not even anywhere close to your limit .
Result gotten from studies shows that at that particular point we feel like giving up , we usually have more than half of our energy left. This is some pure facts that is gotten from real life stories.
Those of us who visits the gym will know exactly what i am trying to say, the fist few press up are easy , but then as you go , your hands become weak and shaky, at that point, both your mind and body have already given you signals to give up. But if you can continue for some more steps , if you push a little longer through those discomfort, you will be surprised as how far you can go. The last uncomfortable step makes you stronger.
Your body or ability is not the real barrier, the real barrier is your mind. We pull back soon as a result of discomfort. So in those uncomfortable moments , if we can remind ourselves that “I’m not really done yet, I’ve still got more in me,” the second win is something that you are sure to find.
So next time you feel like quitting, be it in the Gym, your work place, or maybe your personal goal. Learn the habit of pushing a little bit further. When you take an extra step past your comfort zone, this is where the real growth steps in. So each time you go beyond that, you actually expand what you are capable of.

It's not easy to keep pushing though, sometimes it is draining and the motivation to keep going is nowhere to be found.
