One of the most important lessons I have learned so far in life is the power of quality relationships. Success is rarely a solo journey; the people you surround yourself with impact your growth and opportunity in life.
I have come to understand that the fastest way to get yourself to the top is by building quality relationships; most of your friends don't look like it now, but just give them time.
I told a friend of mine you don't know tomorrow, which means the person close to you now may be the president of your country in the future; who knows? Or that person can rise to a prominent position in the future.
Wise people leverage relationships because they know from history how this has changed the lives of many for good.Here is one mistake most people make in their attempt to build quality relationships.
They chose who they relate with based on what they are seeing now; this can only be your point of focus when what you're seeing is something that is not fully formed yet.
If the potential in that person is still a work in progress, that is the right time to be part of that person's life so you can reap with him or her in the future, but most people are looking for people who have fought all their battles and just want to come into their victory. This will not work; the people at the top most of the time only remember those who stoop with them when they had nothing.
Secondly, just be good to anybody you meet in life; you never can tell what they will become tomorrow.Thirdly, learn how to maintain your relationships. Don't let it die; always do something that keeps the relationship going.
There is nothing more than relationships as far as life is concerned, so spend more time building relationships. I mean quality relationships; it will someday change your life forever.
In my University days It was relationship with a friend that helped me payed my final year school fees, we met in year one and became friends I made sure to do my part for that relationship not to die I put in all the support I could not knowing that I was only Saving my self in the future, so you never can tell how far your relationship today can take you tomorrow.
In your relationship with people be honest,be truthful,be sincere because you can only reap what you sow, which means sow what you want to reap, most people do bad to the people they meet today and expect those people to do them good tomorrow it is not possible, you have to put the future in mind whatever step you decide to take in life.
