Always take a time off

Life can get overwhelming sometimes. Between work, family, school, and personal goals, it often feels like there’s too much to handle. Stress and anxiety sneak in when things don’t go as planned or when we try too hard to meet everyone’s expectations. But the truth is, no one has it all figured out; learning to manage life’s pressures is part of the journey.

Most times at work things get so hectic, I will just start getting angry at any slightest provocation. My colleagues have a way of understanding me. Whenever they see that I am getting anxious, especially when it gets to a deadline of any job and we are still behind, they will just start working overnight without my notice. I remember one time I told them how urgent a particular work was, but they didn't take me seriously and were busy doing the job that wasn't important close to the deadline. When they knew I was serious, everybody started to panic, and I knew that they were going to make a mistake that would cost me.

I just ask them to work overnight, but they should calm down and try to finish at least 10 per day. I will tell the client to move it next week, but anybody that doesn't meet up will have her money deducted, and anybody whose job is not done neatly will have her money deducted too. Because I have to find a way to ease the stress that they are pushing on me. I had to use that strategy so they would do a good job, and they did.

Most times when it gets like this, I just go into my smaller office, put my earbud on my ear, listen to music, and lie down to take a nap, especially in situations that I can't do anything about. I do that just to calm my thoughts. I just do that, focusing on what I can handle and letting go of what I can't. Not only that, but I remember that is not everything I can control; life pressure will always come from family, work, and at times from your personal goal. With a bit of self-care, balance, taking some time off when it becomes too overwhelming, and a little kindness to oneself, anybody can rise above it and find peace.

And another easy way to manage stress is to take things one step at a time. If things are not working your way, just restrategize, set a small goal, rest whenever you feel your body needs it, and never be afraid to say no when your plate is full, especially tailors. Always take care of your body because you need it to function well; take evening walks instead of lying on your bed thinking. Never bottle things on your mind; learn to offload it.

It is pressure, pressure everywhere, but we all have to understand ourselves and take everything one at a time.

If you follow it the way it's coming, one might just die

🤣
We can only hope for good days..
