As an important element of human nature, nobody can say they don't dream. How untrue that statement would be. In fact, I just dreamt last night and perhaps you reading might have too. Dreams can be seen as an extension of our natural world. A place where our mind goes when we lay our heads to sleep. It can be a nap, and dreams can set in within that short period.
What causes dreams? Science will explain that it is a result of our imaginations or thoughts; things that might have had a long dwelling in our minds. So while we sleep, we are going on a journey that our mind takes us while our bodies are asleep regarding those things that were predominantly in our minds. This is the action of our minds.
The impulses and nervous system are the perpetrators of these actions, leading us into an extension of our thoughts and imaginations. The case of a child speaking in their dreams about their play during the day, you would have heard that right? It's a wonderful example in this sense. They could be speaking about one of their plays loudly that it feels like a physical conversation.
However, dreams can be more than the actions of the nervous system. I come from a spiritual home, and dreams can be more than meets the eye. It's not me or us trying to be spiritual but we have seen the realities of dreams not just an extension of our thoughts, imaginations or the day's activities/actions, but also a spiritual influence.

Growing up, I heard about what dreams could mean. There was a time in high school when I came across a book that explained what dreams meant. I must say that I don't really believe in what the contents of the book suggested since some of those dreams could mean nothing or more. I don't even know the author who wrote it or the state of his or her life. Some dreams can look similar but have different meanings or interpretations.
As a Christian, I know there is the supernatural, a realm where things can be birthed. People have had encounters in their dreams and it affected or even shattered their lives. The spiritual is very much true and active, and as such, some dreams can be an intervention from the spiritual world, trying to birth or destroy something.
These kinds of dreams have meanings that will need to be deciphered. It's not the nervous system acting, they are communicating spiritual actions. At least, I have seen the evidence. Of course, there are dreams that we can say are just the actions of the nervous system. That's why there's a caution to be mindful of the things we dwell our thoughts on, especially the things before we sleep. They can be the things we dream about.
I don't think that's true. Yes..... as humans, we have dreams when we close our eye no matter how short or long the period of time is but having a dream is not an everyday thing.
One can have a dream but on waking up, fail to remember what eggxactly it was he or she dreamt about. But deep down, he or she knows how his or her moment of sleep passed by.
I also believe dreams are a way of communication spiritually having seen people whose dream came to reality a couple of times as well as those whose dreams led to an initiation into a certain realm.
Hmmm that's true and insightful.
Yes, dreams are spiritual communications. I'm glad you understand this too. There are things that happened in dreams that became realities.
Thank you for stopping by. It's nice having your comment.
In most cases, dreams are meant to communicate spirituality to us. Thanks for sharing.
