KARMA!

The repercussions for our deeds have been a popular point of discussion from time. While it might not be popularly discussed on public platforms and situations, it is somehow well considered among fellow human beings. Through several life occurrences and actions of humans, it becomes more and more of a thing to consider.

You hear people say at times in lament things like “I just hope this thing he has done will catch up with him”, “I pray she gets repaid for what she did” and a lot of similar ones. It is not a new thing we can attest. Other persons in similar cases seem to just let the matter rest. They don't care about such utterances or at least the idea of something like karma. They seem to see it as a vague idea or concept.

My little experience in life has taught me about the concept known as karma. Karma is the strong idea that a person; especially one who does some form of evil things gets repaid for their acts. The idea about karma though should go beyond just the bad or negative deeds, but the positive as well.

Why some people would say there is no thing as karma is because we have seen, especially in this part of the world how the wrongdoers seem to get away with it, continually reaping from their deeds with no consequences. Rather than suffering and paying for it, they are however flourishing. In a popular sense, they keep getting richer.

While it may seem like they are getting away with such deeds and flourishing in it, karma could go beyond the present time or the individual directly. Sometimes, it may not directly affect the individual but could affect him or her indirectly through one of their close ones. There is always a consequence and price to pay when you dabble in a thing.

“What goes around, comes around” they say. Now, that could seem a bit off from the discourse here, but it does relate to it. The fact that we do something or even nothing has consequences. You keep fire on your head, you get the consequences. You don't need to be told that the fire will burn your head if you do. Even if you don't know, you will end up knowing after the result.

The thing is, whatever we do has an impending response in the direction of our actions or inactions. You don't shoot an arrow and not expect it to fly. You don't plant a mango tree and expect to grow and eat the fruit of an orange tree. By implication, you reap what you sow. Actions and inactions have direct and maybe proportional results.

Karma, I see it as a measure to make people face the consequences for their actions, becoming accountable and responsible for their actions. It makes an individual aware that for their actions or even inactions, there is always a fruit to reap. So then, what you plant, what you do, determines what you gain or receive.

Yes, many could disagree about the reality of karma. They could term it as superstitious. But the thing is, there's a reality surrounding it. Of course, it doesn't paint its name “KARMA” boldly on the person or occurrence, but it does reflect. It is a natural law of life. It is a natural law in the universe like that of gravity; what goes up surely comes down. With karma, what you do will follow you or catch up with you.

We have been exploited continuously in this country and no reparation that follows. These individuals live their full lives and die at an old age. The good ones die first while the bad ones live to shit in diapers.
With these few points i refuse to believe that Karma is real. Yes we reap what we sow, but Karna na fallacy.

That's true. It's a pathetic situation.

Well, your view.
I believe that every person's actions and inactions catches up with them. It doesn't have to come the way you want it. But it does come. I consider it to be a thing.
Thank you.

What goes around will surely come around, whether good or bad. The funny thing is that people use Karma as an excuse to do bad things. They go, “A lot of people are doing bad things but nothing is happening to them.”

That's it. It comes around in form or another.
I consider that too. And it's pathetic that people will think like this. Karma needs to catch up with people.
Thank you for stopping by.
