I like the spirit of gratitude you showed here. From life to family and friends and even food. We ignore food sometimes, but it's something to be grateful for, and then good health. I learnt to be grateful about good health too and I don't take it for granted.
I like the idea of doing something for the patients, even in the little way you could. That's the spirit of Christmas.
