Several times I have heard the word “love” adjudged as the most overused word in the English Language. I find it hard to disregard or treat it as false. It could not be the entire truth, but it is in a large sense. Considering such statements got me to consider the value of trust, and how much it could mean more.
In my considerations, I realised that a person who is trusted would surely be loved, one way or another. On the other hand, a person can be loved and yet not trusted. They love, they value the person but they can't bring themselves to trust them with something valuable. Maybe it is not love, I guess. My point nonetheless.
This goes on to tell of how important the subject of trust is in everyday life, and down to delicate matters as relationships or friendship. I think trust is not given the necessary consideration or attention it deserves in these respects. And maybe that is why some things are done in relationships and friendships that tend to betray it.
Whatever the ship-friendship or relationship, trust remains a binding and coherent factor. Trust broken is hardly rebuilt, so goes a common saying. I find it to be true. For me, it is one thing I try to maintain in my associations and also desire that other persons do likewise. I should be able to trust you with or on crucial and delicate matters.
Yes, there is a place where we can say we don't trust the person to handle a thing because they are not experienced in the field. After all, it is something off their radar. However, with common life matters and situations, I should be able to trust that person and vice versa. I have a friend with whom we were kind of close back then. Perhaps, our friendship would have continued strongly till today.
So, I try to be accountable; in words and actions. It is something I believe everyone should strive to gain and maintain. They are life important hacks. Though we can fail at times in trying to do this, the failure should be inconsistent and with good reasons, rather than a consistent dwelling in it. That was where I had issues with this friend of mine. His words were never anything close to trustworthy.
His words were not aligned with his actions. In almost all of our schedules and plans, they come up unaccomplished, leaving me with wasted precious time, and I have to try to catch up with things to be done. While it felt to me like I shouldn't have kept the distance like that, I got to realise later from a close mutual friend that he was consistent in it; with him and others also.
Well, some time back he surprised us-me and that friend-by keeping to his words on something he said. Has he rebuilt this character? That remains to be found out. Trust is a big deal nonetheless.
Trust is really a big deal is not easy to trust someone to earn it takes time to earn someone trust
Absolutely. It's never easy to earn someone's trust.
Thank you.
Trusting someone is just like vouching for that person because you believe with everything within you that the person is worth that believe you have in them.
Trust is really the important value a person can give you. Trust is not easy to give or gain but when you earn somebody's trust, its best not to betray that trust.
Absolutely. Trust doesn't come easy but when you earn it, you best not lose it. It's one of the greatest value you can gain before someone.
Thank you for the comment.
You're right. It's often easy to love than to trust. People who are trusted are people who have shown certain degree of integrity when tested
That's it.
Thank you.
