Most people might not realise it yet but the greatest mystery of the future is being unknown. When we trace backwards, in the olding days people use stars , position of the moon and sun to navigate maps. In those days there weren't any such thing like Google maps but with the little natural resources they had access to they made use of it. If you are a fan of pirates of the Caribbean, you might have an idea of what I'm talking about.
Not just that, we also have people who are talented in using stars to predict a person's future or a person's personality. I don't really believe in such things but many people do. I have a friend that believes in zodiac signs, he so hooked up on it that he uses it to pick his friends, it is kind of working out for him, I mean the last girlfriend he used zodiac sign to pick, she dumped him for another guy, what a lucky guy.
Despite the rate at which people believe in stuff like this, it is never considered as something factual because it is not backed by science, it is just mythological beliefs. But if we were to have an actual device created by scientist, a device with the ability to tell the future accurately, would I be interested in it. Alright, it definitely sounds intriguing and a mouthwatering offer I would say but I'm a person with a more renowned perspective about specific things.
If you were following through, you will remember I said the greatest mystery of the future is being unknown, I never really explained it but don't worry, I will satisfy your curiosity. People don't understand the complex nature of the future, the future is made of the results of the known. You don't get it, do you? Every action, decision, thoughts we have today shapes the future in ways we can't imagine. Just by thinking and choosing a different path, you are already reshaping the future from what was.
The future is a combination of the choices we make, the moment there is a device and we start seeking that device to know about our future then the predetermination nature of the future changes, it becomes something that can be easily determined. At first I thought, this would definitely start making people start acting like gods and that device will reshape the way we perceive faith, fate and religious beliefs.
But then, looking at the brighter side of it, the device would only reveal people's future to them without explaining how to make it happen, which means it is still left to each individual to design their future based on their actions in the present but I believe something else will be birthed.
If a drug addict where to look through the device and see the future that awaits them, a future of damaged kidney and liver, would that not be enough reason for them to find solution to their addiction knowing what awaits them? What about those that perish in terrorist attacks, what if they could find out before that day, will the tragic events that leads to their tragic deaths not be avoidable? What about we pitiful citizens recycling the same corrupt leaders in every election, if such devices exist, would it not be a lot easier for us to see through their evil schemes and make wiser voting decisions.
What about countries that are at war, if only there was a device that could show them the results of the endless war they have embarked on, would they not choose diplomacy over war? A lot of tragic events can be avoided through the use of this device. As a crypto trader, I can think of a lot of ways I can use the device for a comprehensive technical and fundamental analysis, it will be a very useful device in ensuring and implementing proper risk management and assessment.
What do I think will be the consequences of we knowing our future? We will be more careful with life changing decisions because we know what awaits us if we keep making reckless decisions. Humans will be capable of making informed choices and ignorance will no long be an excuse because you now know why you should act differently.
