As a human, I like to believe I'm in control of larger percentage of my life but it isn't true. The fact is that there is a lot about we humans that has been determined before we were born. Let's keep the spiritual or religious aspect aside for a moment because you might be thinking, he is trying to bring the creator into this but no I'm not. Apart from the fact that I'm a believer, I prefer to also conceptually analyse some concepts without applying my religious perspective.
There are lot of things that influence a human life and the thing about influence is that, it controls the narrative of every human, as long as something is strong enough to influence you, it means that specific thing also controls you. Which means to an extent, the larger percentage of human life is controlled by external forces and we spend most of our time trying so hard to regain control. The more control we have over ourselves, the more control we have over our actions and the more the control we have over our fate. I'm sure you are wondering what I'm getting at, relax I'm getting there.
Having it in mind that we humans work so hard to regain control in every aspect of our lives despite our predetermined fate, knowing this, if I were to wake up one morning and discover I'm a robot, and someone somewhere is calling the shots or probably already programmed me to fulfill a specific purpose, how would I react? I will feel so disappointed at first. Do you know how it feels to find out that whatever action you have taken from the moment of your birth till date was not taken because you wanted to, it was because someone else wanted you to?
It means I have no control over whatever I'm, I'm just a piece in someone elses game. I think I will first find out who that person is, just to know how much control the person have over my mind. Secondly, I will spend quality time to know more about myself because it seems what I used to be is a lie. It is only after I have gotten every information needed to announce this discovery, only then will I inform anyone because the fact is, people will never believe if there is no quality evidence to proves my claims and what if who ever happens to create us doesn't want to us to reveal this discovery or never wanted us to discover it?
Which means the moment I discover this, this so called assumed creator might know, I mean if I create a robot, I will definitely have access to the robots memory. Depending on this assumed creators intention, it is what will determine if I will succeed in informing others or not. So it is better I try as much as possible to first know more about this so called creator before taking any other step.
