Trust me, when I talk about trust, it is like holding an egg or a glass cup and safeguarding it, because once there is an element of crack on it, there is no one amount of remedy that can be done to make it look like the original. But with proper handling and gentleness, that cracked glass cup can still be used to pour water in again. And I have seen this also applicable to our daily activities, love life, and even when we talk about friendship.
I was having a discussion in one of the Discord servers yesterday after someone got punished, and then one of the members used that popular saying, "Once bitten, twice shy," which I totally got the meaning of in that context straight up. In life, some of us, if someone hurts our trust at first, then we give that person a second chance, and such person still does the same, then trust issues start to set in, and that is where we draw the line.
I could remember some time ago, a close friend of mine betrayed my trust after I gave him some money to keep for me. After some time, I asked for that money, but he started giving excuses, which made me tell myself that never will I trust this person again after what he did, and it affected the way I view others too. But as time goes on, I changed that perspective about me not trusting people because without salt in the soup, it will have no taste.
Because I decided to trust someone does not mean he will not fail; it just signifies that they can put in more effort by doing better another time. And when they tell me that they are charged people, it needs to show in their lifestyle and actions and everything they do, whether it is easy or not. Even when it comes to our daily life or even business, if there is not mutual agreement or love, then a lack of trust sets in. If it is not mere talk that is important, what is important is when we can bank on our business, work, or love partners.
So, at this stage of my life, I do not see trust as something that is fixed, and not even a decision, because it folds, mends, and increases. And through all the betrayal of truth, I always tell myself that letting go does not mean that the past has been wiped out, but it is just giving room for a fresh start.
Thank you for reading.

Exactly my point too. One might forgive but don't expect to give that 💯trust again. It's can never be perfect again. It's just advisable to give our best to come clean to someone that has our trust
Yeah trust can be rebuilt.
That is just it, but built not easily
There are people who I cannot trust with anything valuable to me, they are not to be trusted with such because of the stories that will follow when you ask for it.
You know they say once beaten twice shy...so they type of thing can't happen to me again
