Most often when I am in the comfort of my room left with my thoughts, or when I stroll on the street like this evening and I see different people returning from work, or when I even hear that a very well-to-do individual just passed away, this strange question usually comes to my mind: Why is it that we work so hard, and at the end of it all, we won't even take anything with us when we pass away? We tend to strive for the best, have a certificate, buy different things, acquire some things in our name. We keep grinding, yet when we cross to the other life, not even a single one of those things will be put in our casket.

But this does not stop me from hustling every day. Not because I am in a competition with anyone, but I always believe that having money in my pocket can solve a lot of things. I do it because I hate to beg, I do it for my present and future, I do it because I love comfort, I do it because of my peace of mind that makes everything seem easier. In my country, we have this hustling spirit in us because we always strive for a good life so that our kids will not struggle too.
Even though all of these things that we are working for will remain here when we are gone, but the truth of the matter is that after we might have gotten these things, what happened? Do we share the joy in it with people? Do we impact the lives of others, the type of connection and friendship we make, the help we show others, and how we make ourselves happy with what God has blessed us with.

We will not take any of our certificates, cars, houses, jewellery, outfits out of this life. But how impactful we were to other, the kindness we showed, the love we shared, the smile we put on people's faces and the memories that we created, these are some of the things that will even follow us home at the end of it all.

I love this....
And of a truth, the real treasures are that which you've already highlighted. The impact we had while on earth and the legacy we leave behind is all the really matters.
Thanks for sharing.
💯❤️💯
Having money solves 90% of your problems, it is important to have yours.
You're right, our impact on the lives of those around us and the connection we've made are more relevant than possessions and the likes.
