All these robots things, I have not had a one on one encounter with them, always seeing them in movies, but if at all I come across a robot that has a form of human shape and emotions, I will have a second thought because I always love to put my trust in a real human with understanding, but seeing a robot that is smiling will give me cold feet at first.
After having such cold feet, I will also be curious to know what exactly is going on by asking different types of questions. Some questions will be, does the robot really go through the same pain we humans go through? Does it love deeply, feel lonely and detached when necessary? Because in our day to day activities, one of the things we are good at is putting in our feelings and showing off another's feelings just to survive. And if a programmed metal could have that listening ears without second-guessing us, that is going to be something uncommon.
One of the things I attached importance to is friendship because most of the people I have come across do not put things in mind; they forget things very easily. But I can easily feel very comfortable and safe around a robot that shows concern and care and even recalls things. But one thing that will always be of major concern to me is that I am a human and I have feelings, grow through experience, make mistakes, and even feel pain, but will a robot have such capacity? Will it not feel empty?
It is no doubt that we humans will forever remain human, and there cannot be a replacement for us, but if this robot listens attentively to me, then I will accommodate it because life over here is already hard, and what I need is comfort and peace, not the other way around, because we all deserve someone who truly understands us deeply, not someone who will be disturbing my peace. That is the type of kindness I need.

Eya, I understand with you. We all need something that would give us peace and comfort and trust me a robot will do just that. The problem is, it would operate based on the program inserted in it. You might get tired and need to talk with a fellow human eventually

Yes, a robot may give us what we request for exactly how we requested for it, example leaving U alone and not disturbing. But the truth is that sometimes, when we tell our friends that we want space, what we really need is a shoulder to lean on and recover. Our friend may not grant us the quiet we requested for but will give us what we actually needed and didn't know.

It is true that no one can actually replace us humans, we know when to let go and when not to, we know when your no actually means yes, a robot would definitely find that hard to comprehend as it is being run on a certain program.
I get your point though, a robot would definitely do well being a companion and not replacing the place of a human.
