Imagining a world were we no longer use any instrument to communicate, no phone to use social media, no computer to type and send and medium to make calls. It will be a very sweet calm but funny world.
According to the definition from the prompt, telepathically means, communication through mind/thoughts. Now this would make the world a very quite place, because people will no longer have to shout, talk I'm order for others to hear them. And I feel the world to some extent would be very boring 🤣.
But in the other hand, in the aspect of Information security, it would have been a plus. Because no one would be able to record or hear what one person is saying to the other. Another good thing is that there will be no language barrier, because everyone would be able to understand each other, since it's the mind and thought that is use for communication. Statement like " you misinterpreted me, that's not what I meant, you didn't hear me well, quote me right" will not come into play in a telepathic world because everyone would easily be understood.
Again, the rate of lies would have reduced because thoughts reveal emotions. Communication would be faster because there is no obstruction and in the office settings it will lead to more job effectiveness.
In the classroom settings, it will really aid understanding of a particular concept. It will also help In idea sharing, which will go a long way to help scientist share their thoughts in order to collaborate and come up with a new Innovation. However, People may be struggle to control their thoughts, because other might be attempting unwanted access to personal feelings a concern.
Telepathic world would have been a world built with understanding and clarity, but might also be boring at some point and in as much as it would have been lovely telepathy might also raise new ethical concern amongst people, especially about privacy.

I really love the way you picture such a world we we communicate telepathically, talking of both it's benefits and the obvious concerns too.
It would definitely be scary, but maybe if that was the reality, we would get used to it.
