I know that different people have different things that matter to them, which they do regularly to manage stress, and it works for them. It could be described as their stress management technique or routine. However, in this part of the world where everyone is struggling to survive and stress levels are high, many people see stress as a normal thing. Yet, it is something we all need to learn how to manage.

Stress can be defined as any type of change that causes physical, emotional, or mental strain. It is the body’s response to anything that requires attention or action.

On the other hand, stress management means reducing the negative impacts caused by stress and improving one’s physical and mental well-being. Everyone has their own way of managing stress.

Personally, there is a tradition I practice every week, and it has become my main way of managing stress. I know people have different approaches, but for me, finding a day in the week to sit out and listen to good, cool live band music is what helps me most. It has become my weekly tradition. This routine helps me manage stress and prepares my mind for the upcoming week because I mostly sit out on Sunday evenings. I have practiced this for years, and it has always been very helpful to me.

Sometimes, people who see me sitting out every Sunday think I go there mainly to drink, but the truth is that there are some Sundays when I do not drink anything at all. My main purpose is to listen to the music, and that alone calms me, makes me feel good, and helps me relax. That is my weekly tradition, my personal way of managing stress, and it has been working perfectly well for me.

Another thing I do weekly, especially in the evenings, is taking a long walk around my street. Since I am not consistent with morning exercise, I take time to stroll some evenings, and that also helps relieve stress and improve my health. Walking in the evening gives me time to reflect on my day, observe nature, and clear my thoughts. By the time I return home, I feel lighter, more energized, and refreshed. Both the live band music and the evening walks have become part of my lifestyle, and they keep me balanced in both body and mind.

I can actually relate to this aspect, I love listening to music whenever I am stressed, it's my only source of comfort, and it helps to relax and relief stress.
